if there was one aspect of Ikwerre culture that can convince me that Ikwerre are actually igbos is this particular useless one when my aunt died, she was married to an Ikwerre man they told her to drink the water used to wash her husband dead body her nonsense inlaws forgot my grandmother is a hothead my grandmomsi almost burnt down her in laws house when she heard what they were going to do to her daugther I thought they only drink the water when the last husband wife is the suspect  why tell her to drink the water it was obvious, he was killed by some Ikwerre touts who he was beefing with they chopped him up to pieces with cutlasses |
