Bukola Saraki: There Is Nothing Like Social Media Bill In The The Senate by Nobody: 7:33am On Dec 09, 2015
Following the sharp criticisms and protests concerning the social media bill which is purportedly being pushed by the senate, the senate president Bukola Saraki has denied that such bill exists in the upper chamber of the national assembly.

Below is what he wrote on his Facebook page; There is nothing like social media bill in the the Senate. What Senate has is Frivolous Petition bill, and if any part of the bill is found obnoxious or against public Interest, it will be expunged during clause by clause consideration of the bill.

I can't say he's lying cos he posted it on his Facebook account so if he should come back later to deny it then people would have strong evidence against him.

BTW, what's the conclusion of his trial @ CCT

I think this guy needs a lot of more lies to cover up for him being on that hallowed sit with all his terrible past.

Its so shameful that criminals are the one making laws governing a country.

It is obvious that the bill is targeted at silencing the social media and I'm happy to inform them that if they pass this bill into law, they have a lot of people to jail ooooo grin grin grin grin grin grin

Cos, there will be no peace for the so called SATANTORS or Senators grin grin grin grin

ITS UNFORTUNATE THAT APC RODE TO VICTORY THROUGH THE MEDIA AND NOW THEY WANT TO SMARTLY CLAMP DOWN ON IT. IS THIS HOW THE CORRUPTION WILL BE CHECKED? WE HAVE MORE ISSUES TO DEAL WITH NOT THIS AND SARAKI AND THE REST OF THE SENATORS SHOULD KNOW THEY WILL NOT BE THERE FOR EVER..WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

Frivolous petition or social media bill what is important is the content of the bill cos we all saw the bill and what it said was that frivolous petition emanating from social media or print media is culpable of been indicted.

Saraki should not try to play Maradona or form holy because we know he's going to be one of the first and great beneficiary of the demonic bill if pass to be a law because of the numerous allegations against him either from written petition to the cct or the one from Sahara reporters.

oga ths is nt an apc bill, did apc party tell u they want to pass the bill. Wasnt it the ekiti senator pdp woman that was seconding the motion.
I had expected bruce several pdp senators to raise their hands and object, but no, its a bill for them to be protected frm enquires and they kept mute in acceptance together. We shld stop ths party selective critism that is their divide and rule tactics. They themselves are speaking as one in issues that affect them

May thunder strike that Saraki mouth for giving that Social Media Bill another name just to deceive Nigerians.
I knew he was the one behind the Bill. He just want to implicate PMB with his nefarious acts on that seat.

The Frivolous Petition Bill should never see the light of the day or the masses will rise up against them(the Senate) all.
