IzonOwei:when i read comments like this coming from fellow ijaws who are supposed to be more enlightened i begin to wonder...is it only the igbos that know how to petition UN for a referendum or have igbos blocked the road to UN? we niger deltans suffered from the effect of the war igbos brought upon us and even suffered extermination from igbos who were too lazy to fight the north who killed them...when igbos say niger deltans are lazy, they are refering to directionless fellows like izonowei who does not know what is good for him unless told by the igbo man |

ijawcitizen:no my ijaw brother I know what is good for me..I only gave that suggestion seeing that weve become inactive especially our leaders who have decided to feed fat rather than fight for the greater good of the ijaws or the niger deltans..are you ready to fight for what is your own ...I see the future and look at the leaders we have and I say the ijaws might never get what to seek until they have allies...the north had to ally with the southwest to fling out jonathan who ofcus never was strong enought to deliver the niger delta and now we are left to endure the next few crazy yearz as nigerians....as my brother please tell me a quick way we can emancipate ourselves..I proffered two options...ally with the ibos so that weve got greater force or fight for resource control/true federalism...I am not directionless bro I only speak my mind seeing the foolishness going on this god forsaken nation... |

Ijawcitizen...you can proffer your own solutions rather than call me directionless..as humans we always seek a way out when we know we are suffocated and no space for progress..we cant build and develop our seaports nor manage what we have because we tied up as nigerians.. As a proud ijaw man can you reel out plans you think can give us freedom...tell me..remember unitedly can we get our dreams achieved.. Look at all of us living in lagos and paying taxes that ends up in tinubus pocket..our militants are out there fighting crazily for their own pockets..yes we can seek for a referendum with the UN but as a people are we ready for that ..it seems we are satisfied with nddc and the ministry of niger delta.... ...I am angry here... |

GeneralBK:They have eyes but cannot see. They have senses but they have refused to perceive the bigger picture. Every normal person would have a rethink whenever he or she meets with a superior argument but our people will not. They will rather have peanuts. They will rather settle for lesser crumbs. What a people. What a story. |

funkybully:Complete FALSEHOOD!! Which Enugu international airport made operational? http://dailypost.ng/2015/07/12/akanu-ibiam-airports-international-terminal-will-be-ready-in-eight-months-faan/ BTW how many people will an international airport serve? Secondly the bridge wasn't "cancelled immediately" he got in. He merely asked for review of the terms of the contract, and this happened almost three months into his tenure. Meanwhile your 'darling GEJ' didn't think Enugu-Onitsha expressway, arguable one of the busiest in the SE, would merit a comprehensive overhaul? He didn't think the same regarding the Aba-PH expressway? Meanwhile your thieving elite (govenors, senators, reps), all of Igbo extraction keep enriching themselves, but it seems all too convenient to heap all the blame on the 'Fulani president' who came into power a fewer months ago. The only people I believe have a valid claim to being marginalized are the ethnic minorities of the oil-producing zones. Indeed, they have suffered untold hardship with the plundering of their resources but nothing to show for it. Any other tribe is just being mischievous. |

ijawcitizen:gosh! my friend the era of imaginations and fantasies has gone. today the Igbos are being heard all over the world and thus referendum is at sight. igbos as a majority is still encountering a huge resistance in this struggle both propaganda and physical forces talk more of a minority tribe. ijawcitizen please how many years did it take ND to archive a common amnesty that any reasonable and good hearted government will gladly give to the people affected because that's the economic power house of the country. do you know know that without this oil your land is ruined forever ask yourself is this what you want for your people or generation? an infertile land? do you think that Buhari and the northern oil well owners will gladly allow you people to seek referendum without a heavy resistance while a common amnesty cost many their lives? my friend you need to ask yourself many questions the truth is that igbos are not forcing themselves on you people because we made it clearly that it will be 100% resource control with a well documented agreement. as you can see progress is made each day it's your people's choice to make.. igbos only want to determine their future instead of allowing some stagnant elements dragging them backwards in the name of Quota System. It's time for reality not some Internet illusion. Thanks ![]() |

plendil:Dont mind the numbs, maybe them think say na them go be governor or minister in the new biafra. It is still the double tongued, double faced bloodsucking igbo leaders and politicians you have today that will still run the show in their biafra kingdom. The ugly part of the story is there would no more be free oil money to steal. they will then start feeding on themselves which they are very good at. |

I support the Biafra project. But they should all return to their homeland and then chase every other person from there. It is as simple as that. YOU CANNOT BE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY (ZOO) AND BE SHOUTING BIAFRA. They should move from North and South-west back to the East or Eastern region and then systematically drive away others. With that everyone knows you are serious and it becomes easy to achieve. If you remain in Kaduna, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Lagos etc investing heavily, selling fake/original goods and reaping heavily from others and shouting Biafra, I think it is foolish. You are invariably saying we will continue to milk you in your land, but we want to take sole possession of the oil in the ND (Are ND even part of this?), Then you certainly have the sense of an ostrich. It is actually good we actualize Biafra. But they should move from the other part of Nigeria (or Zoo as they call it) |

PhockPhockMan:Omenka is a lost. Sold his soul to politicians such that even if all his family members are wiped off the face of the earth, by Fulani herdsmen, he'd not care to speak out but will keep worshipping them. Wouldn't be surprised if he had changed religion long ago but still pretends to be a Christian.. |

omenka:I have been following your comments on this forum for some time now and I will say I enjoy your stupidity. Omenkahuruanya or whatever your called,if your yorubas, that's normal but if your igbo , my question is, why will you compare igbos with bokoharam and ISIS?how many times have we bombed ourselves? What is your problem? Must you comment for commenting Sake? Are you Insane? My people are agitating for freedom because we want a better living standard, we want a country we know is ours not where we are made second class citizens! We want a country where we are given a conducive environment to do our business not where you travel to kano to buy goods only for customs to seize the same goods at Enugu, travel to lagos to buy goods only for customs to seize the goods at Benin, we want a country where there is fair play for everyone and ccompetition not federal character, I can go on and on and on. We are Kings and not beggars and that is why we demand for a better living standard. Nigeria is not working and will never work because we are too big for an African country,go to every part of the world, Nigeria is always the topic whether for good or bad . go to every part of the world you see igbos living there some living big, many suffering, doing all sort of petty business, dirty business etc, many would want come back but how can you come to a place that lack water, power, good road, food, good health care etc, what can you omenka call such a country? So don't blame people that calls your beloved Nigeria a ZOO cos it is close to one. Finally I thank Nnamdi for reminding igbos of our identity. History will be friendly to him, hate him or like him he's a HERO |
