In a life where everyone doesn’t want to stress oneself, we all always tend to look for shortcuts to virtually everything we do. Here are 10 great stuffs you could learn in five minutes that you would never forget and of course would surely be of great help to you now and in the future. Another very important thing you need to note is that if you can be able to pay good attention to your everyday life careful enough, you’ll know that you can learn from everything and everyone you came across. So let’s begin with my amazing list of 10 things you could learn in 5 minutes that would be very useful to you in your entire life. Get physical and mental exercise I want to believe that the exercise thing isn’t new to you? You need to exercise every single day. Read and exercise for at least 15 – 20 minutes a day. Its life changing and the body/mind need it to function at the highest level. You’ll feel much better and more consistent. I need you to be able to read at least 2 leaves of any text at all, be it 2 leaves from a novel or your textbook or a magazine just any book at most, preferably one that is educational and informative. Teaching and training yourself to always read stuffs sharpen your brain and mind as well. Seriously, it’s very simple. Try it out and make it a daily habit. Learn to pray This is one part of this blog post you should take with utmost seriousness. I personally can’t imagine myself not praying in an entire day and I don’t mean prayers that come up as a result of you being in trouble or in a very difficult situation at that particular moment. Learning to pray is knowing that you need to always give thanks to your creator above, there is someone up there that coordinates everything you do during the day and at night, there is someone up there that makes sure you don’t get disadvantaged in your daily business or endeavors. So for this single reason I need you to be able to pray to God, He is your strength, your life giver. Make it a habit to always thank Him and give Him praise as soon as you are able to get up from bed every morning. Parents allow your kids to make their own choices Yes, I know they are kids and you parents always know what best for you own kid but allowing your kids to make choices that make them think they are in control would surely go a long way. Here is what I mean; when you want your son to wear his black shoes, instead of you giving him the black shoe to put on ask him this “would you want to wear your Nike air max sneaker or the black shoes?” he already knows you wouldn’t like him wearing the Nike air max that time so he picks the black shoe, and then you smile and you’re happy that he made the right pick. This makes the boy think highly of himself and boosts his self confidence. Pro-tip: in most cases, this works for adults. Never say “I think” or “I believe” Avoid saying “I think” and “I believe”. These are phrases that do not evoke confidence and would literally, do you no good. It tells the person you’re talking to that you’re not confident in yourself. Great standing posture Are you surprised? Stand up straight, no slouching, take your hands out of your pockets and place your head up high. It’s not just a cliche, you literally feel better and people around you feel more confident in you. The way you stand in public actually tells a lot about you instantly. Teach what you’ve newly learnt When you learn something new teach it to your friend. If you are able to teach something well, you can be sure that you’ve understood it very well. And let them ask questions to you related to it. Learn how to shop online If you haven’t started buying your stuffs online then you are missing out on a great deal. I advice you order gadgets and kitchen stuffs etc online. I personally don’t like the idea of ordering clothes online but making purchases of fashion accessories online is very cool. When you start shopping online it reduces the amount of stress you pass through on a normal day when you are in the market sweating and bargaining. You are able to get free coupon codes that slash off the prices of your items. It’s less hassle and saves time. And of course things bought online mostly gadgets and home electronics are always cheaper online than in retail stores. Why not try it out you could start with jumia NG or Konga. How to avoid bumping into someone Picture this: you and another person are walking towards each other, about to bump into each other. Then he or she moves t o the right… and you also move to the right. Then you both move left and right, about to hit each other again. When this happens, just stop everything you’re doing and remain stationary. The other person will be forced to move around you without causing any more confusion. Use Pingomatic Now this is something that would interest every blogger or webmaster that is reading this. This is a great tool I use whenever I newly publish a post on this blog. Pingomatic is an online tool that helps you ping all search engines that you’ve just published a new post on your blog and it also gets your blog indexed faster on search engines. Adopt the DIY spirit Learn how to start doing things yourself. Reduce the rate at which you pay people for things you could naturally do yourself. You could try fixing your bad ceiling fan, fixing a blown bulb, sewing your torn clothes etc. The DIY system is gradually transforming to a worldwide term. Now most bloggers could create their own blog apps without even any coding experience. Just try doing that first before you think of hiring someone to help you get the job done. Bonus tip: Create a website/blog or just learn to code Learning to code something is something most of us aspire to do at one point or another, as it’s - See more at http://www.mozentre.com/2015/12/ten-things-you-can-learn-now-that-would-help-you-the-rest-of-your-life.html |
