Hi guys, My Samsung s4 of few months just stop connecting to any network. It detects inserted sim but instead of searching for a network, it will simply display No Service. I checked my imei with *#06# only to find 004999010640000/1 instead of my normal imei. I av tried all network sim and non is working. Please help as my s4 is just useful for movies and music now. Awaiting ur responses. thanks.

is your phone rooted and did you buy it brand new.

Did you tamper with the imei module?

Oga the solution to our problem wud cost 5k only and der is still watsapp me on 09033365257

Bought it UK used and Yes it was rooted but not any more as I have restored to factory settings through recovery mode.

or maybe ur phone is on factory mode, google how to remove factory mode from s4

The only solution is to load back the stock rom of your phone. i could have fixed it for you but Am based in abia state. it is not hardware problem but Software. i guess the time it was rooted an important file was the deleted. it has to do with a software called busy box. Just take it to someone who is really in flashing phones and tell him to load back the stock rom of the phone.

Stock Rom wnt work ur base band and imei is corrupt the easiest solution is to flash with box..or u get a new panel in case u want to sell off the screen or get a new panel u can contact me

op your efs folder is corrupted.
if you have it backed up. you can restore it.
if not, flash a modem.
if not, flash pit file according to your region with stock rom. then boot into recovery to wipe

if not, you'd need a box to re write your imei .

are you in lagos ? if yes, can you re write baseband and imei showing unknown. it was water damaged ?
