Nigeria is a banana repulic then again that term does not do justice to what we just saw in the video. Nigeria is more of a fruit orchard and animal farm where even banana repulics are a joke.

I guess u didn't hear or u choosed to ignore the part where he said he is on bail right? Go and check the bail ruling given to dokpesi, it specifically told effcc not to try such bullshit,if truly that man is on bail ,then i think we should all be ashamed of ourselves
From the reports he is on bail with the case made by EFCC, SSS was said to have come for him now.

Every where in the world(Us, Uk, France etc) once You resist arrest it becomes an offence and Police ve the right to apply force at that point.

Thats humiliating.

The wailers as usual will continue to wail but they forget easily how their beloved hero Jonathan also humiliated his perceived enemies when he emerged as President, a very good example was Dimeji Bankole who was the speaker of the house of reps then, Bankole was arrested like a garage boy from his residence in Abuja. I still remember very well that episode how he [ a whole speaker] was held by his trousers by enforcement agents and later someone will come and tell me that Jona was a very gentle man that was very democratic, smh.

I'm tired of hearing Buhari is fighting corruption meanwhile he is busy hunting down only PDP members. If he really wants to fight corruption, APC members should be involved after all it's the same APC members that defected to PDP. Buhari should also face other national issues IMO.

A drastic disease needs a drastic cure. If our money was stolen, we want it returned .Nothing like an abuse of law o cos the embezzlement in the first instance was an abuse!

You don't fight corruption by harassing people and infringing on their fundamental human right.

You are right, he should send official delegation to beg looters to return their loot. That way he will appear nice.

there is a legal system involved. Didn't you read the part that said he's been under investigation for the past six months??

this isn't dictatorship.

Why then do they ve to take him to court when they know they won't have respect for the law.
They are just the same as the offender. Besides what kind of joy do people especially those on uniform derive from beating others.

his right wasn't infringed. He resisted arrest which is a crime on its own.
Stylaay:
If he was granted bail, then it is absolutely wrong for agents of the state to whisk him away forcefully. If the man stole public funds he must be prosecuted. What I would not support is when human rights start being trampled upon. Some people are happy cos they feel he stole therefore h should be treated anyhow. Our security agents should not be allowed to start feeling above the law, the law should guide every strata of the society. If people's rights are trampled upon in a dictatorial manner, they will start revolting

Nigeria is sliding into dictatorship and the youths whose futures are being destroyed are here hailing kidnapping, dictatorship and outright brigandage by law enforcement officers. what happens to warrant of arrest? you dont just arrest a man without a warrant unless he was caught in the act. If he had been shown a warrant he wouldnt have resisted the arrest. Those who are meant to uphold the law are the ones desecrating it. was he not granted bail by the court? why arrest him in front of the court? an affront to the judiciary...or was it a different offence? that shows the prosecutors and investigators didnt do their job very well by doing proper investigation before charging him to court. Nigeria is becoming a joke, it is sliding into dictatorship... God save us

HE CALLED FOR IT, I KNOW SOMEONE WILL SAY THIS CAN NOT HAPPEN IN U.S. BUT I ALSO WANT THE PERSON TO UNDERSTAND THAT U.S. CITIZENS DON'T WASTE OFFICERS TIME AS HE DID IN THAT VIDEO. HR HAS HIS LAWYER, IF HE FEELS HE IS NOT GUILTY, HE SHOULD FOLLOW THEM TO THEIR OFFICE WHILE HIS LAWYERS JOIN HIM THERE TO DEFEND HIM. YOU ALL HEARD HIM SAYING "I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE". IS NOT BUSINESS AS USUAL, A GROUP OF FEW INDIVIDUAL CANT THROW A NATION OF FORTUNE INTO THIS MESS AND WE ALL KEEP QUITE. IN NYSC VOICE, this is a CLARION call that must be answered

Re: Patrick Akpobolokemi Bundled Into A Van By Security Operatives - Video by tdmoggy: 9:25am On Dec 15, 2015
The arguments of his guilt or whether he is an aleged thief is irrelevant.
It is a worrying development for DSS or Police or whosoever to infringe the rights of citizens regardless of whether they are presumed guilty or innocent. The facts of the matter are that the man had obtained bail. I could not care less about the man but it is completely wrong in a democracy for this to hapen.

People who are cheering must realise that this can happen to you and your family members unchecked where there is no rule of law being enforced. DOnt assume that this only hapens to people presumed guilty..... This could hapen to you if you cross or offend someone powerful enough. See the case of the ex-DG of SSS who was forcibly ejected.... This is the display of the same impunity that was detested under the previous regime.

His Lawyers were there so why didn't they tell him to respect himself, enter the bus and they take it up from there.

At least we have started from Year 1 out of the 5000 years. I wont be surprised if you don't even have data to watch the video.

Mild force is applicable any where in the world if you resist arrest.

Lawyers and their everlasting LIES. "He was thorougly beaten" grin grin grin End time LIARS. Is there another video where he was thouroughly beaten ?

NB : 13Billion was approved for NIMASA University and paid while less than 300Million got to the Owners of the land.

This has got to be the funniest video of 2015 Nigerian politics. In 2014, it was chei there is God oooo, in 2015, it is 'Im not going anywhere'...
Nigerian police and SSS have a special training in grappling stubborn people by the waist. Once their hand is fully tucked in your waist, you know your centre of gravity is in their hands. The rest is just a matter of pull and drag.
Oga Nimasa, I no pity you at all. When you were swallowing billions, you no remember Nigerians.
Sai baba jor! More criminals will be handled like this or worse.
IN case you have forgotten, this new EFCC chairman no dey smile. He is a terror to thieves and looters.

People are talking about how things like this only happen in Nigeria...to the extent of using the US as a reference point. The same U.S. where police brutality and violence is at its deadliest in the whole of the Western hemisphere? The same U.S. where you can be shot and killed by the police (albeit not legally) for saying 'you're not going anywhere' and resisting physically when you're being arrested lawfully? If the man being arrested in the video is being arrested unlawfully, that's a different case which we can't deduce from a 2 and a half minute video as this, however if he was just trying to be stubborn, then bundling him into the van is as lenient as forcible arrests come. In the so-called first world countries, he wouldn't have to put up a struggle in the first place because he'd have been tasered and rendered helpless. The only thing he'd probably remember would be an electric shock. I wonder what the woman that kept shrieking: 'This is a democratic country...This is Nigeria' in the vid wanted them to do. Based on how the video began, I'd guess that the bundling was the last resort. There seemed to have been some preceding dialogue.

They didn't do anything wrong to the man. He was granted bail on a different charges by the EFCC and today he is being arrested by police on another different case. He should have complied and asked his lawyer to accompany him. He is lucky that they didn't even beat him because if it was an average citizens like you and me we would have been beaten by the police for resisting arrest
