Infinix lovers might not accept it but the Infinix Big Six is looking likely to be a flop in market. Most people are not really interested in buying the phone. Apart from the screen size and the 4GB, the device is just another Infinix Hot Note.

Twas bound to happen... Infact predicted it not too long ago.. The big6 really has no ultra functionality to offer that actually makes it better than its predecessors; the hot note and the hot note pro..

I mean how dare dey make a 6inch screen be powered by a 4040mah battery.. When the hot note and the hot note pro versions are both 5.5inches but yet are powered by a 4000mah battery... That's an insult to my hard earned money..

The ram no help matter.. Infinix should have realised that it's not bout increasing the 5.5inch screen size, to capture naija market dey need to work on the phones features and functionality..

If dem give 5.5inch phone 5gb ram powered by a 6000mah battery with a 22mp secondary camera and an 8mp primary, faster charge with sum killer design for instance.. Nobody go tell other OEMs and phone makers to hit their respective drawing boards sharperly..

Case in point cause of the fuel scarcity and lack of power supply, people are now looking up to phones that can last longer periods without them charging frequently...

That's target marketing at its best: especially when they make it so affordable..


Sticking to my infinix hot note till dey come up with a phone that beats it resoundingly...

Thank God I went for gionee m5 after selling my infinix hot note pro... I can't sell my 2gb ram phone and go after 1gb ram..

Everything u mentioned is good, but are u willing to pay premium for premium features? Be sincere to ur self.

U want qhd 6 inch phone, with. 6,000mah battery. First u know the phone will be bulky with such big battery (unless u want a battery that is not real like all these fake power banks that have littered the market. I even saw a 20,000mah power bank that can't charge a 2,200mah phone twice. Also are u willing to buy a qhd 6 inch infinix phone with snapdragon 820 and 5gb of ram for N80,000? Please be sincere. Premium features come at a price. U don't expect a N20,000 phone to come witha true 22mp camera and 5gb of ram.

Calm down.. The thing is getting people to patronize your new product.. Infinix made it seem like the big6 was the real deal.. They over hype the phone so much that everywhere u go, na infinix big6 matter u go dey hear..

Unlike it's predecessors: the hot note series, phone no match the hype at all..

For people to patronize a new product there must be something extra the product gives that the old product doesn't....

If infinix had made their new hot note aftermath to arrest this naija need and add extra features like 3 - 5gb ram, 32gb rom, introduce 4G, unbreakable screen, to mention a few and also allow hot note predecessors upgrade their batteries... I bet you before end of this month infinix would have run out of stock even at their head office...

As per the premium issue.. I see naija people as they don't mind wat they are paying for as long as they are assured that it would serve for long...

U still don't get it. Infinix hote note 2 is a mid range phone, not a flagship phone and u are asking for flagship specs. U are even going overboard asking for 5gb of ram, 6,000mah battery and 22mp camera on a N20,000 phone.

Looks like u don't know how business works. Infinix is in their infant state, u can't expect them to invest big in the market that already have juggernauts like Samsung, HTC, BlackBerry, Apple. Trust me they will go bankrupt if they try it. They need to take their time to win the heart of their customers. They started by making cheap phones and will make premium phones gradually just like tecno is doing now (and lots of people still complain that the phantom 5 is too expensive). If infinix make the kind of phone u are asking and out the price at premium, people will not buy it. Because it would mean the price is close to Samsung or htc or BlackBerry or apple. So people would rather invest in trusted brands than a brand they do not trust. That is how business works.

I'll give u an example. If bajaj (that compnay that makes keke napep) decide to build a car with the same specs as a Mercedes Benz g wagon, or with even better specs than the g wagon and sell it for half the price of a g wagon, do u think they will sell? The answer is NO. People would rather pay twice to buy a g wagon than buy some untested unkown product. That way bajaj will go bankrupt because they will never recoup the money invested.

The best way a growing company can attract customers is to drastically reduce the price of their products. Cheap products however comes at a price, a lot of corners will be cut in order to balance the book. Abi u want do business make u no see gain? Even if infinix build the kind of phone u are asking, then they need create awareness to let the masses know what they are offering. ADVERTISEMENT. U can't invest BIG without advertising. Samsung as big as they are spend up to $5billion in advertisement. Do u think infinix have that kind of money?

Hmm.. U still missing the point.. Didn't ask them to go overboard.. Just saying they could have at least upgraded the hot note pro, since they are still bent on increasing the hot note series...

Okay.. Look at this way.. At first, when the hot note came out it had a 1gb ram 16gb rom (which I bought).. E no reach two weeks the mumu people release hot note pro 2gb ram 32gb rom, them still mumu come back hot note kuku ma make am 2gb ram 16gb rom.. People rushed the 2gb rams so much that they were out of stock in all phone outlets...

They didn't do anything spectacular, they only increased the hot notes ram and rom a bit and they sold out.. Still the same battery capacity and camera resolution....

They could have just improved on the 2gb ram say give big6 3gb ram, increase camera pixation, increase battery capacity, introduce marshmallow increase screen resolution, maintain 5.5inch screen, make the screen more rugged, and if they liked introduce 4G LTE.. Keeping in mind the pricing.. And u would have seen dem sold out before they even released it..

If u use an Infinix hot note and u want to switch to the latest hot note 2 instead of wasting money just simply update ur hot note and u will get same experience with someone using the note 2

I love the Phone tho

Infinix battery life is just too poor

i saw this phone today at computer village and wasn't impressed with the design. it's not as good looking in reality as it is in picture. it's a copycat of Huawei mate 7, Huawei has more premium design and it stands out.
