Here are the facts. Nigeria is dependent largely on one key resource, oil!. Oil prices are at an all time low, the country’s income is less than 1/3 of what it has been for the last 8 years. The just past government has not been prudent. Rather than save in our summer season, we feasted and now winter has come upon us! The economic realities created by just these two factors will be sever on Nigerians. The cost of most of the consumables of the middle class which is largely imported has gone up. Standard of living is higher but income is not moving. The biggest pay master-Government has taken a pay cut, all their dependent companies and organisations will be starved of cash.
