It's no longer news that some workers in Imo state are being owed several months of salaries. My mum who is a health worker has not been paid salary since May. According to Rochas Okorocha, the Imo state civil servants are very unproductive and hence do not justify the amount of money they receive every month as salaries and allowances. Because of this he slashed the salaries of some of these workers by almost 40% which they rejected. Just yesterday he started giving out cheques to some of these workers after 8 months but with not after the employee has taken an oath. See the form they are forced to sign below. May God help us!
