nobody will just come online to tarnish anybodies image or spread rumour without concrete evidence. DIS IS A GOOD DEVELOPMENT IN MY OWN PART

I will support a bill that will punish rumour peddlers especially those that defame and assassinate charecter.

There is a LAW already taking care of that & it is called a libel suit.. The proponents of this absurd & DOA bill are not doing it for altruistic reasons, tgey don't want stuff like buying 120SUVs for 108 committee heads in a 109 member senate to be in the public domain..

Rumour mongering is part of life, they should learn to take the good with the bad, they don't get to live larger than their electorates & still hope to intimidate them.

This bill will never see the light of day... cool
