Barely 24 hours after Mr Ikunyi Owaji Ibani resigned under controversial circumstances as the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly due to the fact that he didn’t give any reason, but made sure he signed the budget submitted by sacked Governor Wike, before tendering his resignation letter has been replaced by Victor Adams from the Okrika constituency.

He’d be in control of the state pending a rerun election, should Gov. Wike lose his case at the Supreme Court.

He is an ex-militant and received amnesty under the Presidential Amnesty Program. He was a member of Tom Ateke’s militant group.

First, if the Appeal court, as largely expected affirmed the Tribunal ruling nullifyin The 23 Seats of the Assembly, then the house cannot seat until a quorum Is formed.

Second, Wike's Case @ the Supreme Court and 90 days, that may be declared will total up at least 4Months.

However that of the House of Assembly of. About 23 Seats will take place within the next 2 Months, after which they conduct another election in the House to elect a new speaker
