Carragher said Toure was guilty of letting his team-mates down, despite his late strike. "I think he’s a joke to be honest. The goal is just a great goal but that’s got nothing to do with running about," Carragher told Sky Sports. "It wound me up that he got the goal at the end. "In the commentary they said he ran the game for the last 20 minutes because it’s like he comes alive because he thinks we’ve got a goal and we have a chance of getting something. "It’s a chance to get a goal and a bit of glory for himself. City lost the game tonight and one of the major reasons was the space Ozil had behind Toure. "It’s nothing new, nothing we haven’t said the last two years. It just comes back to the fact he thinks he can switch it one when he can get a goal. "He’s a major player in the dressing room and I think it’s selfish the way he’s played tonight. At times I was laughing the way he was tracking back the only thing he needed was a walking stick and an overcoat." |

Emaprince:Bruh are you for real or are these actually bouts of irrationality and delusions? ![]() The Chelsea board were faced with a very tough decision; either to jettison the crop of players leading a revolt against Mou or to sack Mou and keep the players. It was quite clear even to the blind n' deaf that it would be an anomaly to have half of the team placed on transfer list because of the manager, so what would the board do, sack Jose and employ a manager who doesn't have an issue with the players. That's a more pragmatic substantial fix IMO. Which other faith were the board supposed to keep? The wait for Jose to settle his differences with his lads have been on since August, isn't that enough grace and faith? Hombre a cursory glance at the league table will help you understand better why the board decided to stop keeping the faith. This isn't the time to suggest something whimsical or fantasize, this is the time to stay pragmatic and do what we have to do to save our already obliterated season. |

Griffon:Chelsea lack of faith came in the summer when Jose told em the squad is not eqipped to compete, but theyd rather listen to Emenalo. This fight with the board is what put Jose in a foul mood with everyone. It would serve those bozos absolutely right if Jose lands at Manure and do what he does best. If you tie yourself to incompetent bufoons like Emenalo who is known for snaking everyone at Chelsea from Ray Wilkins to Ancelotti to RDM to Jose, that is what you get for putting your future in the hands of an incompetent nincompoop If Jose ends up at Manure and Pep at City, say goodbye to league trophy for 3 years. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 3:59am On Dec 22, 2015*. Modified: 5:11am On Dec 22, 2015 |
I am glad that Emenalo has shed his cloak of anonymity to all Chelsea fans. Maybe yall thought Ibime was mad for going on about Emenalo all these years. For the record, Emenalo became the most powerful football man at Chelsea in 2010. He was already the defacto Sporting Director as Roman had lost faith in Frank Arnesen. Arsenen was allowed to see out the last year of his contract as a lame duck before the official title was given to Emenalo in 2011, however Emenalo was already doing the job from summer 2010. His first signing was Ramires in July 2010, one of the reasons I have given for his unexplainable belief in Ramires. I have documented severally his snake ways. It is no secret that he destabilised Chelseas 2011 season over the Ray Wilkins affair and was imposed on Ancelotti as assistant. You know you are a snake when Carlo 'nicest man in football' Ancelotti refuses to work with you stating "Emenalo will not be allowed to take any training session." I have also documented severally his imposition and insistence to RDM that he must play Torres at all times. I clearly showed also where RDM had furious arguments with Emenalo that his central midfield is not strong enough and Emenalo insisted he had all he needs in Mikel and Ramires. This clearly led to Chelsea midfield being blown away and got RDM the sack. I also documented how Benitez argued with Emenalo over the need for midfield reinforcements. That is on the record. Emenalo has been lucky that a silence clause is put in place when managers are sacked otherwise every single manager who has worked under him would profess of his utter incompetence and backstabbing ways. I recall one eediot asking me to prove that RDM and Benitez had all these issues with Emenalo. Especially for that uninformed eediot, lemme kindly drop this link to show that again, Emenalo had the same issues with Jose Mourinho this season. Maybe niggas thought Im mad to have been talking about disagreements between Emenalo and Jose all summer: Jose Mourinho and Michael Emenalo were virtually not on speaking terms at Chelsea in the final days of the Portuguese at the club. The London Evening Standard says sources suggest Mourinho's relationship with technical director Michael Emenalo had deteriorated and in a damning statement, the latter refused to name the Chelsea coach by name as he discussed the reasons behind his departure last night. One of the reasons for a fall-out between them was over player targets, with Mourinho unhappy about the summer spending, which included the arrival of Abdul Baba Rahman and Papy Djilobodji, who were believed to be Emenalo signings. - See more at: http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/revealed-mourinho-and-emenalo-clashed-over-chelsea-transfer-policy-4109135#sthash.hDv9ZSPv.dpuf I stated all throughout the summer as far back as June that Emenalo has wrestled power from Jose and that Jose is extremely unhappy from all the press conferences I had been watching where he kept repeating that "the board believe our squad is sufficient to defend the title". My posts in June/July on this matter are on record. It wasnt until Man City beat us 3-0 in late August that Roman relented and agreed with Joses point of view. By then it was too late. All we could get was Pedro. That same anger and resentment I told yall Jose was nursing from June is what led him to behave the way he did. I even warned back then that I see Jose behaving the same way he did in 2007 when he had problems with Arnesen over the direction of the club. I will tell niggas categorically now that signings have never been in Joses hands since he returned in 2013 incase you are still ambiguous now as to where power lies. Neither RDM nor Benitez were allowed a single signing or even any input as to where they thought the team needs strengthening. Emenalo is a dictator who does not work with the manager but believes in weilding power over the manager. The annoying part about it is that he knows absolutely nothing about football and believes signing 100 wingers with no midfield is the way to success. Unlike RDM and Benitez however, JM was allowed 4 signings due to his stature and wilpower. Players Jose signed are Matic, Costa, Fabregas and Felipe Luis only. . . as well as Eto on a free transfer. Schurrle, Willian, Cuadrado, Van Ginkel, Salah, Zouma, Cuadrado, Rahman, Adrian, Kenedy, Hector and Djoliboli were all Emenalo signings. . . because Jose said these are signings the club have been scouting even before he joined. Remy Im not sure about but both Jose and Emenalo were happy with him as a second striker. In summary, Emenalos meddling has culminated in another Chelsea manager being frustrated in his work. Jose did not react in the right way to his squabbles with Emenalo over the summer, but make no mistake, that snake is the root cause of Joses erratic behaviour this season, just like he was the root cause of Ancelotti and Di Matteos troubles.

dmcdad:Lool....Yes he murdered Spain first, in his first season back in 2010, He finished the season with 25 assists, the highest for any player in any major European competition. 2011/2012 season, he finished atop the Liga assist chart with 17 assists and even earned himself a Ballon D'or shortlist, he also helped Madrid win the Liga and got nominated for UEFA best player for his fine form for both NT and club, remember he was still very young. In his last season in Spain before joining Arsenal, 2012/2013, the wonderboy went on to finish the league with an outstanding 29 assists....if this isn't 'murdering' Spain, I wonder what it is then ![]() |

Players Jose signed are Matic, Costa, Fabregas and Felipe Chai...if actually this is true Emenalo should rot in hell, why would one yeye TD handle transfers when we have a competent Manager to do that, Mou deserves an apology then, this kinda singular act could have annoyed any manager and make him behave randomly. |

A40:Raphael Honigstein said Pep said he would stay at the beginning of the season, but then changed his mind mid-way. If you know Pep, you'd know he can be like that. He did exactly that to Barca after they had crashed out to CFC at the semis of the UCL in 2012. And nobody is saying he is irreplaceable but I am sure every important person in Munchen wanted him to stay. You don't just want a manager that does well but one that fully identifies with the values of your club, such that even when he is at loggerheads with the management, the disagreement doesn't filter through to the pages of tabloids and press interviews as some managers are renowned for *cough cough* As for Mandzukic and ATM. I think it is safe to assume that if he did well enough Simeone would have kept him. And also saying that he is "doing well" in Juventus is subjective. There are some other players that you let go of not because of their talent but more about their attitude and personality. Mandzukic reminds of a Gallas or Balotelli. Jupp took on Mou's Madrid and beat them on penalties. If he had died before the final, many would have sworn that he would have beaten CFC. He lost to a largely underwhelming CFC. Personally, losing to CFC should hurt more than losing to RM or Barca ( I am sure you agree). So it can be spun either ways. RM beat counter-attacking teams like Dortmund 3-0, ATM 4-1 enroute to winning the UCL. So Jupp's counter-attacking brand of football may have (and I dare say most likely would have) suffered similar fate. Winning one of the legs is only mathematical as the ends is what should justify the means. As for Barca of last season, you saw what Messi did to Neuer and Boateng. It happens. I get your drift though. |
