Sometimes I think our presido and politicians speak by faith (Only seriously serious believers who hear from God should do that).
Some things they do not have any realistic plan for they will be promising it.
When Obama said he will create 2million jobs, Americans asked him how? He had to explain.
Which platform do we have to ask our leaders such sensitive questions? Maybe nairaland. So, as a patriot I agree and believe your optimism Mr Presido but please explain how... grin

500,000 teachers is attainable but it is not advisable for the FG to bear the cost alone..

I think that FREE 5K should be added to the salary structure of the 500,000 teachers that will be employed in the state and local govt level.

The earlier we start getting things right the better, 500k multiply by atleast 50k salary for 12 months is a serious burden on the FG,development should be bottom up not from top down,its not necessary for teachers in Urban areas with high cost or living to earn same with teachers in rural areas,same should go to the Police,we need state police,Lagosians might pay higher tax than people in Ibadan.

That's 13513 teacher per state including the FCT. I hope the start-up pay is one tenth worth of the pay our political elite take home monthly.

Diversification of Economy cannot work on 2015 budget.you need to read PMB speech during presentation of 2016 budget in full and understand the contexts and content.In 2016 budget oil represent 13.7% I think. It speak well for the future of this country.

The best solution is how to implement the other sources of revenue and then tag it along effectively on 2016 budget.

It's actually possible to employ far more than that. I for one have created a new model of education that can singlehandedly employ up to 10,000 teachers, just that I can't fund the project yet.

..Menh,dnt look down on teachers o. The once you see crying and begging for an improvement in salary are mostly those from poor private schools. A teacher take home for federal schools is upto 70k. Imagine the teacher should organise a lesson or have a private tutorial, then u wil knw that there is money there.Moreso,a teacher have enough time 4 his/her self.He/she is not being worked like a donkey and can have time to involve in other business or to further his/her studies.in fact,during my sec sch days,all my teachers have a kar and they are enjoying a lot of benefits. ..
