it's indeed unfortunate that some people re spending this season in sorrow. okeke hostel caught fire this evening and 300 series was razed by d fire |

it's suspected that it was caused by faulty electrical connection and was supported by camp gas cylinders that students use.it started around after 7 from a room and spread to the whole series/floor which contains about 30 rooms. fire service was called but by the time they arrived, d fire was already out of hand.they didn't even come prepared,brought half tanker.They ran out of water and left. The series burnt till there was nothing else to burn,then d fire died down.very annoying |
