Hello ladies, pls I need your opinion on potty trainning my 22 month old.she doesn't want to wear pampers anymore and won't sit on a potty to wee.she is used to seeing her elder brother standing while using the loo so she won't bend or sit to go.
I trained the brother with potty from 8 months likewise her, the brother adjusted well during his time but my small madam does not want to tow the line.
I am in a dillema now.your opinions will be appreciated.

8 months?! Well done o! I feel the earlier one starts the harder and longer the process is, I maybe wrong though

For your daughter you need to be patient with her, maybe you allow her see you when you pee so she can also know there is an alternative way

Eya pele, I guess she has to introduce formular ( nan, similac and the likes) until she starts producing BM again.
Btw, what caused the sudden BM dry up?

Stress and fear, lack of nourishing food and tired can cause breast milk not to flow. So is she happy? Are you stressing her? Breast milk production is dependent on emotional well-being, good food, good health and demand and supply from the baby. As long as her ducts in her breasts are not clogged due to infection, it is more likely the other triggers. Supplement with formula for now and let her keep letting the baby suck till the issue resolves itself.

Alcohol can enter breastmilk and some flow to baby but as long as there is a 2 hour interval between consuming alcohol and feeding baby, no alcohol should pass to baby. Certain liquors made with hops/barley are thought to increase breastmilk and it's common to see women drinking Guiness and even Palm wine to increase flow (I tried Guiness but I disliked the taste too much to continue). Let her keep nursing the baby but be giving formula for now and next doctor's appointment she should bring it up with the Dr.

Btw, taking care of kids and the home is a very stressful. job o wink

Not at all, it won't affect d vaccine. Don't massage or rub anything on d swollen site. It ll go down on it's own after sm tym.
Just keep petting her and giving BM. she ll b fyn.

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I have been here...now I have plenty backlogs to read smiley

Meanwhile my nanny will be off for the christmas holiday and is not even sure she will be back next year so I need to buy a car seat for my baby. He is 11 months already and is tall and also not too slim. Please I need recommendations on which good car seat to buy and also the price range. I am thinking he has outgrown infant car seat or will not use it for long or so. Please just educate me as I never buy am before

And for those that reside in Ado, I'd appreciate if you can recommend a place to buy one. Thanks

It is o! Infact it was easier for me when I started working than when I was a stay at home mom with one child (not to talk of 2)

It's also the most underpaid and under appreciated job in history grin

At 11 months no need for infant car seat, just buy the convertible (forward facing). Graco and Chico are good brands but expensive, just buy anyone that looks ok to you, as long as the child is belted in he will be fine
