But the greatest hatred they have is reserved to the Shiite sect of Islam.

ISIS was formed by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in central Iraq during the US occupation.

al-Zarqawi was originally a member of Al Qaeda but he will later leave the Terror group to form ISIS.

Since then, ISIS has far out shadowed Al Qaeda in barbarity and recruitment drive.

Osama bin Laden condemned the killing or targeting of Moslems and his main enemy focus was the infidel West and the State of Israel.

Osama's Al Qaeda was more of a political struggle and there were hardly any attacks carried out by the group on places of worship.

The US invasion and occupation of Iraq changed all this after democratic elections where held in the Shiite majority Iraq which saw to the first ever Shiite ruled and majority govt. Iraq prior had been under the supreme control of Sunnis. And given that the Shiites were running the country in conjunction with the US occupation force, a deep sense of betrayal was planted in the hearts and minds of the Sunnis against their fellow Shiites.

Other factors that saw a rise in sectarian violence were the flourishing Shiite processions which hitherto were banned under the despotic regime of Saddam Hussein. Saddam clampdown on the Shiites after his disastrous loss to Iran in a border war. Thus , the once oppressed and suppressed Shiite majority of Iraq were now running the country in collaboration with the US occupation force and were now openly practicing their "haram" religion.

Al Zarqawi was just one of a growing bunch of young radicalized Sunni Arabs of Iraq who hated the Shiites more than even the US.

You must note that ISIS didn’t get so big because Muslims are angry about international politics and US foreign policy. It got huge because Sunni Muslims hate Shiite Muslims.

Al Qaeda in Iraq didn’t become popular because it killed American soldiers, but because it suicide bombed Iraqi Shiites. It really took off once there was a civil war underway between Syrian Shiites and Sunni Islamists.

Osama bin Laden wanted Al Qaeda in Iraq to focus on Americans, not Shiites. Zarqawi knew better. Al Qaeda’s base in Iraq was a Sunni population that hated their Shiite and Kurdish neighbors even more than they hated the American soldiers trying to keep the peace between them. By massacring Shiites, Al Qaeda in Iraq stopped being another franchise of a goofy Saudi rich kid making snuff videos for Qatar’s fake Al Jazeera news network and instead became the protectors of the Sunni minority.

The Sunni ideology is drawn on a suspicious hadith which claims that Arabs form the Quarish tribe are the only ones allowed to lead in Islam.

The Sunni movement is actual an Arab supremacists ideology.

I did a topic here ; "Birth of A Monster" on the rise and rise of Boko Haram and why it can't be compared to the Maitassine Uprising.

The thread was in response to what is actually the driving force behind Boko Haram and why Buhari back in 1984 could easily defeat the group.

In that thread, I stated the demographics and motivation of the Maitassine group which were mainly inspired by a Mahdist movement against the elite monarchies of the north and had its members drawn from the dredges of Northern Nigeria.

The leader of the Maitassine group saw himself as the Imam Mahdi who voraciously spoke against the corrupt northern elite and monarchies. Maitassine was able to appeal to the poor and down trodden members of Northern Nigeria who identified with his revolutionary theology.

It won't take long before his members will begin attacking the state recognised religious leaders in mosques across the north before staging violent riots and skirmishes with security forces.

The fundamental differences between Boko Haram and the Maitassine group is that the northern establishment unanimously rejected the latter while with Boko Haram they played politics with the insurgency. Another thing worthy to note is that the maitassine uprising was a muslim civil war unlike the jihadist Boko Haram which targeted non muslims and security forces.

The very reason the northern establishment rejected Maitassine is because the group and it's leader where opposed to monarchies and the elite.

In the case of the El Zakzacky Shiite group, the similarities are striking when compared to Maitassine. The Shiites are against any form of monarchy in Islam. This is why in Iran you have a spiritual leader but in the Gulf you have the various Emirates and the prominent House of Saud.

The conflict between Tehran and Saudi which can be summed up as Shiite versus Sunni stems from a suspicious and arrogating Arab supremacist hadith credited to Mohammed that stated that only an Arab from the Quarish tribe can be declared Khalifar.

Baghdadi of ISIS has since claimed to be a Khalifar drawing his ancestry as a descendant of Prophet Mohammed.

The Emirates that dot northern Nigeria are exclusive to the descendants of Uthman Don Fodio and his Generals.

For a while now, El Zakzacky had had several runnings with the Emir of Zazau challenging his authority as the leader of Muslims in the Zaria Emirate.

Tackling El Zakzacky was just another day in quelling dissent against the Islamic aristocracy.

The vicsious and relentless clampdown on Shiites by the Kaduna state govt and army which has the blessings of the Islamic monarchies is because El Zakzacky just like maitassine in the 80's regularly criticised the ruling families as corrupt and unislamic.

If the north came out United against Boko Haram the insurgency will end but rather this same rulers and elites have been harbouring and protecting the group both at home and internationally.

The current kaduna state governor went to address the British parliament a few years back claiming that Jonathan was using the war against Boko Haram as an excuse to kill muslims in the north.

About 5 northern governors under the aegis of NGF and ACF went to the US to petition against the Jonathan administration claiming genocide.

The massacre of the Shiites shows how subservient the northern elites are to Saudi Arabia.

The killings were ordered by Saudi which wants to open another front on their proxy war with Iran.

Yemen, Syria and Iraq are all messed up because of Saudi backed Islamists are on the rampage fighting Shiites.

Ask yourself why this killings came after Saudi declared Nigeria as part of their Sunni coalition.

Don't be fooled. The Shiites are no saints but they are definitely no way near the level of the lunatic Sunni boko haram
