Happened to me i did nothing, and it was a new passport, my mum was so angry with the little girl saying her mother must pay o, the girls mum apologized tire i felt bad but whats done is done and i couldn't ask the mother to pay because they live on our street and the lil girl and her elder sis came to visit me embarassed

Oh my God. But the passport office can issue a replacement for a small fee if you declare defacement. All u stand to loss is some air ticket reissue surcharge and perhaps small business failure. A dear child for sale or bag of rice? FAINTS!
