Hi! Pls note that ideally clearance has nothing to do with mobilisation process. They are two different things entirely.


Once the results are approved by the senate, then you are good to go.


However, some schools due to high number of PCMs, tend to use clearance as criterion for mobilisation.

Like Kbs468 has rightly said, the normal thing is that it should but at the same time, the only place where clearance is more effective now adays is when you want to collect your certi! Without completing your clearance, you can still be mobilized if your school send their approved senate list to NYSC portal and it has your name on it!
Knowing fully well that certificate can be collected later in the future so also clearance can be completed when you're about to do that!
But my advice is this, if you have time why don't you so the clearance once and foreall...#my2kadvicetho
