2016 will definitely be DC’s best year ever Look out, Marvel! 2016 is almost upon us and, from what we can tell so far, it’s going to be a huge year for DC Comics. While DC has been killing it when it comes to TV shows, they’re poised to take over pretty much everything in 2016. From the introduction of an all new expanded DC universe, to a wide array of impressive new shows, to a large emphasis on kick-ass, female-led comics (including Poison Ivy’s very first title), there’s so much to look forward to seeing from DC in 2016. Though there are numerous things to be jazzed about seeing in 2016, these are the movies, shows, and comics we’re most excited for. All of the DC movies ‘Suicide Squad’ Suicide Squad is definitely one of our most anticipated films of 2016.After all, DC’s Suicide Squad is one of their most interesting team-ups that they’ve ever created. The idea of villains being put in traditionally heroic roles for impossible missions? So cool. Though there are quite a few things that could go wrong withSuicide Squad(some potentially related to the movie’s PG-13 rating), we’re actually incredibly optimistic about the movie. It has a great cast and the tone of the first trailer was so spot on with what we were hoping for. Plus, we finally get to see Harley Quinn on the silver screen for the first time ever. We’re hoping that this movie dominates and opens the door for future villain flicks, including one centered on the Gotham City Sirens. (Hint, hint, DC. Hint, hint.) ‘Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ When it comes to 2016 blockbusters,Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justiceis definitely going to be one of the biggest (if not in contention for the #1 spot). The movie’s most recent trailerhas us super jazzed for the film. Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor, the appearance of Doomsday,Wonder Woman… This movie looks nothing short of epic. (And that’s just based on what we’ve seen so far.) In addition to being a huge event on its own,Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justiceis poised to be the jumping-off point for DC’s upcoming cinematic universe. That’s a huge amount of responsibility, but we know that this movie is going to kill it. ‘Wonder Woman’ glimpses, news, and more Okay, so we have to wait a little longer for the Wonder Woman movie to actually hit the silver screen. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t look forward to all of the clips and news leading up to that point. We just want all of the Wonder Woman we can get. Clips (and Tumblr gifs) fromBatman v. Superman, set photos, and aWonder Womanteaser trailer… Compared to the complete lack of anything Wonder Woman-related we have at the moment (except for the Linda Carter show), we’re getting alot. All of the DC TV shows ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Legends of Tomorrow comes to our screens in 2016 and we’re super pumped. Not only are we excited about the fact that we’re getting another quality show in theArrow-verse, but also about the fact that it stars some of our favorite supporting characters in said universe. Ray Palmer, Sara Lance, Leonard Snart… Need we go on? Needless to say, this show is going to be a really fun ride. We can’t wait to see what it has in store for us this season. ‘Lucifer’ If there’s one DC show that looks like it’ll be addictive in 2016, it’sLucifer. The main character is so.....continue reading https://ultronx./2015/12/29/2016-will-definitely-be-dcs-best-year-everlook-out-marvel/ |

Hmmm. So this place is still here... Didn't even know I unfollowed it and I guess that's why... Anyway, who here is watching " Into The Badlands? The series is like extra dope and the best martial arts series ever! |
| Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Nobody: 8:02am On Dec 30, 2015 |
philfearon:'Banshee' is the BEST martial arts themed TV show presently. 'Into The Badlands' dey learn work... it's a mere 6 episodic drama series, surely not enough to earn the 'title' just yet, don't you think? |
| Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by stixz(m): 8:44am On Dec 30, 2015 |
koice:Let's wait for into the badlands s2 before judging it.. I don't know y AMC series are always 6 episodes In the 1st season...walking dead and fear the walking dead same thing. |

stixz:They wanted to test/guage the audience response before they can fully commit. Suffice to say, they were experimenting. |

I watched a lot of tv series this year but I will say I enjoyed the series I watched in 2014 more than this year. I watch a lot of Korean and American tv series, in which empress ki, Queen seondeok , The killing and sense 8 were the best I watched from both countries. I won't go without mentioning two drama episodes that make me go crazy; mother mercy(GOT) and if then else(POI), i have watched these two episode more than 100 times. Lastly, I hope 2016 will be better than 2015..... |

The Fall, anyone? RTE-BBC show. Has Gillian Anderson, Archie Panjabi and Colin Morgan. As good { if not better,} as Hannibal. And I'm not even kidding. |

koice:@the bolded, I agree with... Banshee is too brutal man, is that even martial arts? |
| Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by dubylhover(m): 1:42pm On Dec 30, 2015 |
SirChotas:hmmmm...better than Hannibal? I hope you're not overhyping it oo..cos Hannibal was one of d best i watched this year... |
| Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Nobody: 1:55pm On Dec 30, 2015 |
philfearon:'Banshee' is MMA on steroids - anything goes. We get to see variety of martial arts on display, for example, Kai prefers Krav Magra, Hood aims to incapacitate, that's Taewando, Clay's bodyguard Clay employs the more traditional Japanese Jijitsu, etc. |
| Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Nobody: 2:15pm On Dec 30, 2015 |
... SirChotas:... I haven't seen it yet, but I believe you. BBC has a good track record when it comes to churning out quality series - usually when they partner with another television network. |

koice:That's kul anyway.... On a scale of 1-10,how will u rate the show? |
| Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Nobody: 3:54pm On Dec 30, 2015 |
philfearon:Banshee or Into The Badlands? For the former, I rate it 8/10. the later however, it's early days, so I'm giving it a respectable rating of 6.5/10. |

| Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by mablie(m): 5:53pm On Dec 30, 2015 |
koice:My man,you can hype this show o.The only positive traits about banshee esp season 1 and 2 were the sex, nude and action sequences.Season 3 lacked all these. It was completely directionless until episode 8.Its good to know the show will end in its 4th season. It was clear for all to see its producers, creators et al lacked new ideas for the program |
| Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by philfearon(m): 6:45pm On Dec 30, 2015 |
koice:It's favourable then (Into The Badlands)... Lol, you need not tell me of Banshee.. |

| Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Nobody: 7:31pm On Dec 30, 2015 |
mablie:Lolz. I laughed at your comments. cuz it's utter thrash, no offense. There's more to banshee than the nudity and sex scenes, bruv. To know more about the major characters and their vices, you need to see the webisodes streamed between seasons, Banshee Origins. Then as for your comment about Season 3 been directionless and the worst of the lot, you couldn't be more wrong. The 3rd season was the best of the best, where every single episode was treated as a season finale. The nonstop action sequence was out of this world - the best I'd ever seen in a series. The fight scene chereographs were executed to perfection - from the Royce royce showdown between Clay and the Indian Girl to Hood and Chayton's throwdowns. It's not a surprise when Banshee rounded off a great season by winning an Emmys - not it's first btw. Currently, the season holds an 100% aggregate score from top television critics, 'Rotten Tomatoes'. |
