That's the same verse I've been singing since the 2nd half of last season. Ask Ibime.
And when I mentioned that Hazard is not exactly a fast thinker on the ball, mr nateevs cheesy refused to speak to me for a week. grin
Anyways, aint gonna talk about him no more. Got better things to do. lol. He deserves not my time...well unless he improves. tongue grin

Meanwhile, Kante going toe-to-toe with Yaya shocked shocked shocked and was basically the first to every second ball. hmmm..I figure he cant be more than 15 mil. GET HIM!!!!

@Ibime, see your boy Mangala. Good you are not making a living as a scout else I for just assume say you be padi padi with Emenalo grin cheesy
I no get business with Mangala abeg except commenting when he pocketed Diego Costa last season which was the first time I saw him play.

ESPN journalist speaking the absolute truth. . . some mates wey no sabi football cant see it. . . Emenalo, diaris God o!

Mourinho left a mess at Stamford Bridge but the former manager inherited a squad that lacked coherence. The transfer policy that has been conducted since his first departure in 2007 has a greater emphasis on talent than effectiveness. For Chelsea to regain true heavyweight status, the next permanent manager must convince Roman Abramovich to balance his desire for star names in blue shirts with the demands of collective performance.

The Russian owner's eagerness to create a team of entertainers suddenly seems like an anachronistic policy. A decade ago, the gap in financial resources between Chelsea and most of their rivals in the Premier League created a chasm in ability and as a result, the west London club could bully most clubs on and off the pitch. The recent television deals have levelled the fiscal playing field -- an influx of more talented players have transformed the so-called "lesser" sides in England's top flight and artistry is less of an advantage.

Chelsea have too much talent now and cramming it into one team is not working. There will always be days when the likes of Eden Hazard, Oscar, Pedro and Cesc Fabregas will destroy an opponent but a lack of "water carriers" tends to betray a side, especially in a frantically-paced division.

Roman Abramovich has spent years buying superstars but the league's catching up, requiring a different approach.

Against this backdrop, winning the title last season is arguably Mourinho's greatest achievement. Nemanja Matic and Fabregas were the engine room of the midfield in 2014-15 but have misfired badly this season. Chelsea are routinely outmanned in the middle of the park. The Serbia midfielder is a little one-paced and one-dimensional. Opponents have worked out how to deal with him. Matic at least looks like he cares, though Fabregas has been one of the disappointments of the campaign.

Chelsea have spent years buying for the owner's imagination but the next manager will need to find a balance that's been lacking at the Bridge. The time of fantasy football is over.

Up till now i cant understand why oscar would be falling up and down on the ball like sambisa forest escapee. Can't club nutritionists force whey protein powder into his mouth, nostrils and ear while asleep? It's annoying watching him losing the ball, waving his hands on the turf, like C.A.C prayer warriors. May be it was fatigue, last match performances of players were nothing to write home about. Willian also joined the fray.

Same thing I was saying days ago.

We've lost what made us Chelsea, we've lost our unapologetic ruthless efficiency - our identity.

I honestly don't know who we're trying to adopt their style of footie amongst Barcelona, Arsenal and Red Bull Salzburg.

Even if we must go tiki-taka the club should lay a strong foundation for such system to thrive. A strong foundation that includes a no-nonsense defence line, a cohesive central midfield unit and a pragmatic manager.

The likes of Hazard and Willian shouldn't have a sense of defensive duty enshrined in their thinking rather they should enjoy a sense of freedom. They should express themselves on the field knowing fully well that a strong midfield have got their back.

We're obviously going about this whole thing the wrong way. So I reiterate, this team must be fixed.

You get eyes....I wanted cussing Willian on few occasions....I kept shouting all thru the match.

Still doesn't change the fact that he's been our best player this season, it probably was just his off day.

I'll never forgive Matic for that miss too, same as Oscar for the PK he lost, maybe we could have been 6 points up now.

We should forget about Pogba and go for Gundogan this January. He is not cup tied. And He is a top midfielder if he is Fit.

Reports are just getting to Us that Juve is preparing a £30 million bid for the midfielder. We can afford £40 million

And should Bamford cool come back to Chelsea this coming January or Just go to another team on loan.

Cc: Ibime, Airmark, Nihilist, Nateevs, FBS, Dhellake, Griffon, Mourinhilic, Chelseafan1, diggz, Raumdeuter, who again?

Your Opinion counts.

In as much as I dislike Chelsea, I don't want them to remain like this for long. I wanna see them play in UCL. Their rivalry with my team is better than seeing the likes of Leicester City in UCL.

Players like Oscar, Fabregas, Ivanovic, Mikel, Ramires, should be fished out. However, replacing them with better players will be difficult because it's likely that Chelsea won't be in UCL next season.

Forget Gundogan, I think the guy has peaked already. If you need a player than is better than Fabregas in terms of defensive ability, killer passes, dead ball specialist, and can do the work of playmaking,

Benat Etxebarria of Athletic Bilbao is your man. That guy is a beast in midfield. The engine room of Bilbao midfield. I'm sure he's less than 30 million.
