They are two different players. Honestly, for a direct side like Chelsea, I think Pogba would offer much more. Chelseafan1: |

dmcdad:Will Pogba leave Italian Champion and UCL contender for a club trying to fight relegation? If Chelsea qualifies for UCL, they can then think of having Pogba. I'm talking about quality players who are not in UCL, and can be signed by Chelsea. They are all over Europe. |

Dhelake:Anything is possible bro. The only issue here is that the guy is cup tied. Chelsea should get this guy once season ends. I doubt Bilbao will make UCL next season judging by their league standings. |

Dhelake:Akes loan to Watford expires in January. We should start from there. Also look to recall Van Ginkel in January. This season is a write-off already. Lets use it to give opportunity to those within the club then look outside in the summer. One thing I am sure of is that Ake is a better pivot player than Fab, Ramires and Mikel and a better leftback than Baba. Van Ginkel would likely be more solid in the midfield also. |

Bro, I wasnt talking about Chelsea getting him right away. Just responded to Chelseafan1's post about Pogba and Gundogan when he said Pogba is better. To respond to the issue on ground, Gundogan is good but you never can tell. His history with injuries aint a good one, coupled with the physical nature of the EPL, it might just worsen things all the more for him. So I think they might wanna weigh in other options. Ibime:I haven't seen Van Ginkel play football for like 2 seasons, I hope he still holds that much promise Ake did well in games he got at Chelsea before leaving on loan, should put in a decent shift but two left footed players in a pivot seems somehow, filling in as a left back will be better, at least Iva go go chop bench I agree this season is a write off already, there is no better time to use this boys |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Griffon: 5:06pm On Dec 30, 2015 |
Bimffo:Get Gundogan today and I assure you we'll want him out tomorrow. He has lost what made him one of the best box-to-box midfielders. Make no mistake about it what we really need is a decent central midfielder. The role of the CM is vital in controlling the game, so it’s essential that the person filling that position is of the right character. Matic needs someone that can help split the midfield workload he's meant to carry. I would have easily gone for a box-to-box midfielder but NO, a natural DM is what our newly adopted sexy football needs. The defensive midfielder alongside Matic will drop back and act as a shield for the back four, breaking up plays before they become dangerous and patrolling the area in front of the back four. While they do this, the attacking midfielders will occupy a more advanced role and be responsible for every damage that'll be exerted on the final third. This means we can just gamble with any signing. How much is Kante of Leicester or even Kouyate of Westham worth? I wouldn't mind having either of the two. These are niggas that understand their job on the field of play. I've made mention of Roma's Naingollan here. Verratti, Witsel, Mccarthy, Krychowiak or whatever his name is are good options too. Biglia is another name but i'm scared he's almost 30. There are just too many good DMs out there but our dear Club is in love with Mikel and Ramires. |

This is not the time to be feeling Funky..... I agree with debroslink since he went against all odds and made sense....I really like Bernat, he won't have a problem playing for us.... Rodriguez for LB Carvalho/Allan for DM Lukaku,Mahrez,Nolito...... Andre gomes/Witsel/Bernat.. With the players we are gonna sell,we can fund this signings with +he net spend.... Rami,Oscar,Costa,Matic,Iva...maybe Hazard.....all out Recall Pasalic,Ake,Bruma,Baker... We can add signings like Igalo and Barkley to the bench.... |

I want us to get that 20 more points as soon as possible. Then start sorting the useless ones from the useful ones, from defense to attack. Integrate the youth that needs integration, give RLC,Kenedy,Traore,Musonda,Aina,Van ginkel,Bamford their run of games till the end of the season. We should skip Europe for a season,if the senior players want out, sell them. |

mithel:Hazard should just go to Madrid already, it will be better for both parties, I will always wish him well and respect him. In other news, Griezmann can't just stop banging in goals for Athletico. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Griffon: 11:59pm On Dec 30, 2015 |
For y'all clamouring for the integration of the youth, here's a piece of goodnews. Players such as Charlie Wakefield, Kyle Scott, Kasey Palmer and Jay Dasilva put on orange bibs and were seen taking on the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Ramires, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Kenedy in training on Wednesday. It was a session of the boys against the men, something that is unheard of at Cobham. You'll have to wait till this weekend to know if any of the lads made a breakthrough into the team ![]() |

Chelsea chief scout launches attack on club, says incredible talent Bertrand Traore is being wasted on the bench. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/630319/Chelsea-scout-Bertrand-Traore-transfer-gossip-club Emenalos answer is signing Teixeira to force him out even more. Same thing happened to Kevin De Bruyne when Emenalo went chasing Willian and Schurrle to force him out despite him already competing against Hazard, Mata, Oscar and Moses |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 6:14am On Dec 31, 2015 |
Nihilist:Quit acting funky. . . if Emenalo buys 6 players in his position for megabucks, who do you expect the manager to play? Do you think Hiddink will be brave enough to bench new £30m signing Teixeira to give small boy Traore a shot? In addition to Hazard, Willian, Oscar, Pedro and Kenedy? Since JM left have Hiddink or Steve Holland given Traore one minute on the pitch? Nah nigga, when a club purchases expensive assets, the manager has a duty not to impair the value of the asset by benching them. If an expensive £30m signing isnt playing or has his confidence eroded by the manager, the whole board will be on the managers back. Poor squad composition is on Emenalo. |

So you lots expect Pogba to come to Chelsea? A club that has no hope of Europa league talk less of Champions League next season? A club whose goal for the season is to escape relegation? WHO GAVE YOU GUYS THE COW DUNG YOU ARE SMOKING? Meanwhile, the last time Hazard scored a goal; Messi, Neymar and Suarez have scored 134goals. O0oops! |

Ibime:I thought Bertrand Traore was a striker. This season Falcao has been injured, Remy injured/unavailable, and Costa out of form/suspended. We've started 3 games in recent weeks without a recognised striker on the pitch. Are you saying that Emenalo told Hiddink to protect Hazard's value and play him upfront in our last game instead of the GOOD striker on our bench? Even as it became very obvious that a striker was desperately needed on the pitch? Shebi Kennedy is also a striker? How come he has had far more gametime even in this poor season than Bertrand Traore? Did Emenalo decide that he must play too? There's no need to concoct conspiracy theories when a perfectly reasonable explanation would do - If Traore was good enough, he would play. |

Nihilist:You mean to tell me Hazard is a better striker than Traore? If so, is he better than Loic Remy who he was preferred to? Dont worry, when Teixeira signs, you will see more of wingers playing upfront given the clubs financial investment in them. Traore is a winger who has played upfront for half a season at Vitesse. Crowding him out of his primary position is due to poor planning. I have him down as the 4th or 5th AM and the 3rd striker. In 1 or 2 years time, dont come telling us stories about how x and y manager forced out Traore after Emenalo has signed yet another big money winger to relegate him. It is not new to hear niggas like you claiming a clear talent is not good enough just because politics hampered their progress. Afterall you were one of the Torres lovers who told us Sturridge and Lukaku are not good enough. When I made the same point about DeBruyne being my favourite AM at the club yet being forced out by overcompetition and big names, na so some ninjas (not you in particular) dey talk say he cant be good enough and whatnot. Same thing with Lukaku and Sturridge. All na politics. Bookmark this post for future reference when Traore is shining. Im sure youll be the no1 nigga on his bandwagon as per Lukaku now. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Nihilist: 2:30pm On Dec 31, 2015 |
Ibime:Lol me I said Lukaku wasn't good enough? ![]() And was Sturridge good enough? Anyway, if Traore isn't a good striker, then what is he good for? Is he better than what we have right now in attacking muddied positions? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 2:43pm On Dec 31, 2015 |
Nihilist:Are you not one of the shekpe keeper lovers who defend Torres every game whilst sane people were calling for Sturridge and Lukaku? Whilst Nateevs explicitly derided Sturridge and Lukaku everytime they played 5 or 10 minutes here and there, you were one of those who enshrined Torres right to no9 shirt blaming everyone but Torres himself. You were in that camp, whether explicitly or implicitly. We suppose done ban you and Nateevs from this thread for that nonsense 2 year campaign for Torres ![]() |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Nihilist: 3:04pm On Dec 31, 2015 |
Ibime:Lol This guy your own na 'either or'. Your argument no dey ever get nuance. I never said that Torres wasn't shyt, but I also said that we weren't playing to his strengths which at the time was also true. That Lukaku own, you need to go through my posts again bro. I wanted Lukaku to start instead of Costa sef and was always posting updates when he was on loan. I even argued with them coogar and nateevs untop his matter. Same thing with Cortouis wey me and you argue and I told you that Thibault was better, until you were reduced to ridiculing my mathematics ![]() Like I've always said, I'm not opposed to youth integration, but I am opposed to youth integration solely for integration's sake. The youth has to be the right youth. What has Traore done to suggest that he is EPL material? See Bamford that you people won't ke is hear word over...played 80 minutes of EPL footy this season at Palace. Lol I can get Jiggy with Ake cos he has proven himself to an extent in the EPL. I can fux with Christensen cos he has shown himself in Bayernliga. But Traore? Even the one or two times I've seen him this season, he has looked wack(ish) I remember RLC too. All the hype. All the argument. Then he came on looking like a mixed race Mikel Obi Come on lad. To quote Jadakiss - Skills over politics. There's been nothing special to acknowledge. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Dhelake: 3:45pm On Dec 31, 2015 |
Lol , so nateevs derided Lukaku and Sturridge and was clamouring for youth integration under Jose. Maybe new opinion was formed sha |

Nihilist:Definitely anyone wey support Torres diehard and claim he is for Lukaku at the same time is like a ninja claiming to support Goodluck Jonathan while voting APC. Leave that thing. Im not a youth integration man. I know the difference between men and boys. Na my eye dey tell me football. The young ninjas I have promoted over the years can be counted on one hand ie Sturridge, Lukaku, Traore, Ryan Bertrand, Thorgan Hazard and De Bruyne if you class him as such. Others I think are squad filler material could be Nathan Ake, Bamford. You would not see me crowing about Solanke and co wey never test themselves only ninjas wey done show outstanding acheivement in professional football. Certainly before I champion De Bruyne, I have followed him closely at Werder Bremen. I have seen Lukaku work at Anderlecht and West Brom. Sturridge work at Bolton and Chelsea etc. Likewise Traore is a nigga I can bank on from his record. It is pure arrogance to argue with a fellow fan that a player you havent seen isnt good enough just because you imply he isnt good enough from him not starting games. A lot of politics is involved in this club right from squad planning stage. This is a club that values Baba Rahman over Bertrand That values Oscar over De Bruyne That values Torres over Sturridge and Lukaku That values Mikel over any number of midfielders. Traore not getting shirt dont mean shyt. Talent is undeniable and will be shown soon enough. My only concern is that it is shown at Chelsea and not forced out by overcompetition when there are other areas of the team that need critical attention. |
