Fayose's PREDICTION Number 19 fulfilled. Remember Gov Fayose said in his "20 Things Nigerians May Exprience in 2016 under Buhari's Govt," that Gov Ishaku will win at the court.

The appeal court has reversed the judgement of the lower court that sat in Taraba state, and declared Al Hassan of APC the winner of the 2015 governorship election, the appeal court faulted the decision of the lower court and affirmed that Samuel Ishaku is the duely elected governor of Taraba state, how else will one notice the wind of change, judiciary is now dispensing justice without favouritism no government influence, i am enjoying my vote for APC, justice must prevail over sentiment.

APC straight to the supreme!

I hope the PDP supporters will be happy with this and Fayose will have no reason to accuse GMB of interfering the appellate verdict.

Very nice outcome from the appeal court. PDP member is meant to challenge whatever happened within the party, not APC.

APC and their supporters have been saying rubbish since inception.

Are you ok?

You need to tell us who was behind the bizarre decision of the Election Petitions Tribunal that arm-twisted them into giving a verdict that is alien the extant laws of the land.

Nigerians will stoutly resist dictatorship and the attempt to make the judiciary a mere rubber stamp.

The judiciary is inconsistent. Many legislative elections have been upturned on account of party primaries and a rerun ordered in several cases in kogi. The Appeal Court justices in various divisions are creating credibility problems in the land. Who will save judiciary from itself now?

When will Nigerian judges start aligning their judgments to give standard to the Judiciary? See what another judge gave as judgment in the case of PDP's senator Ekwunife of Anambra state

'' The Chairman of the appeal panel Justice A.D. Yahaya, who read the judgment said: “After an election, if a person wishes to challenge the result of the election on ground of nomination/pre- election matter, he can legally do so before a tribunal under Section 138 (1) (a) of the Electoral Act 2010 as amended and it is wrong to hold that an election tribunal does not have jurisdiction to hear and determine such a matter''. The Court of Appeal nullified the election of Senator Uche ekwunife of the PDP on the strength that she was not validly nominated.

According to the Appeal Court panel that sat in Enugu,
nomination is part and parcel of qualification to stand for
an election and since an election can be challenged on the
grounds of lack of qualification, it follows that the
appropriate forum to challenge it after the election is held is
the Election Tribunal.
