Good win today. We looked good for the 3 points but lets not forget that Palace were missing Cabaye and Bolasie who would have hurt if on the pitch. Not to take anything away from the boys, we played really well after the first goal!

Mikel. He was good today! I was even having an argument that there was no way a coach would deliberately tell a player to pass sideways and backwards majority of the time. I didnt think it was possible. but watching him move forward with the ball and pas them forward in the last few games, i believe Gus knows how to use him best. he stopped counters today, won the ball back a few times and it would be nice if he is consistent with it going forward.

i keep telling them mou tactics is exhausting. Players keep chasing ball around then looking for mistake from opponent or set piece to score. These set of CFC players are flexible and skillful, they are not mechanical in their play which mou like. We won league last seaon because cecs and costa just came plus hazard was superb.
