“For the umpteenth time, the APC urges Nigerians who see merit in the war that the President Buhari-led administration is waging against corruption, not to be distracted by the PDP and their agents of corruption to discredit the war. For the records, the ongoing war against corruption is not selective. Anybody guilty of corrupt practices will face the law.
“If the PDP has any proof of corruption against any APC member or minister as alleged, we advise that they approach any of the anti-graft agencies constitutionally mandated to handle such cases.

“PDP’s rant suggesting a selective anti-corruption fight by the present administration should be seen as a plot meant to distract the citizenry from the successful ongoing war against graft.
“The PDP does not have the luxury of dictating how the present administration carries out its legitimate duty of catching looters, as long as it conforms with the rule of law.”

Which one be bury head in shame. Hope you are not saying stop talking because of the corruption cases. You must and all Nigerians must learn to seperate politics from governance. Why do we always mix the two. PDP was obviously poor in governance but they must continue to be alive in politics for the sake of democracy. The APC was not in governance when it was playing its opposition politics. The tables are turned and at the end of this administration it will fall out of favour similarly. Will that be its end, no.

Let us seperate individuals from institutions. Dasuki, Jonathan and co. are not the PDP, they are members. Similarly Buhari and co. are not the APC. They will come and go. The party will remain, govern in power, oppose without. That is a given and the only road to development.

In all parties in all democracies worldwide there have been the good, the bad and the ugly. The Democrats who rule today had a Kennedy but they also had a Nixon. The Republicans in opposition who see nothing in Obama had a Reagan but they also had a Bush Jnr. Life goes on.
