Bathing only makes you ACCEPTABLY clean. The dirt which will always remain as residue on the skin after the bath is what makes the towel dirty overtime.

You can never really be rid of dirt and germs. You can only be ACCEPTABLY clean. It's part of living.

When we bathe, we wash off the dirts on the surface of the skin. These dirts on the surface of the skin are then replaced by the dirts in the pores of the skin. These pores' dirts are what our towels clean and they become dirty!
