Does a Kano sharia court have jurisdiction over an offence committed in Abuja or is Abuja part of a bigger secret caliphate ? He should appeal this sentence in a proper court.

Warning !!! If this man can be arrested in Abuja for blasphemy and tried/sentenced in Kano then.......... cool
That was exactly my thoughts

Nigeria is an Islamic state, country with two laws.

He ran to Abuja after instigating crises in Kano. One of the things he said before running was "do not waste time seeking any form of education, it's futile, just love inyass and inyass will make you abundant in knowledge ".

Inyass is the man he worship, his name "Abdul Inyass" means servant of Inyass. He also believe He is God and everyone that subscribe to their coined doctrine will be God or is God.

He also went on cursing every revered Islamic figure on a loud speaker.

You call this freedom of speech? It's rabble-rousing and worst kind of incitement, his motive clearly is to provoke people to violence. People like this chap deserve every kind of comeuppances they will get.
For your information, Nigeria is a free state and not an Islamic state! Stop putting everybody in Nigeria under your backward and barbaric laws! At time alike this, I think it is time for Nigeria to divide so that you northerners can become the Islamic country you really want to become.

That is his opinion and he has the right to them.. Muhammed also told you all not to eat pork and i can't see you shouting foul over it in fact he is your role mode.

So why in the world would you sentence another man to death for airing his own views..
By extension opinion of his wife/wives, children, students[if there's any], an inclination he hopefully strive to see metamorphosize.

This "ridiculous mindset" you called opinion coupled with other vile vituperations happen to be the root cause of the insurgency that snatched lives, properties and peace of many unfortunate countrymen.

How certain are you and how could you convince any right thinking person that breeding docile idle minded individuals will not lead to hoodlum spring?

And so? Last i checked we all have our rights to worship what ever we want or not to worship at all.

It amazes me how you all muslims find it a noble course to murder people based on their religious affiliation or use threat of such grounds to coerce people into submission

But he never killed or touched any of them.. Right to speech and criticism... this in no way deserves a death sentence

By all means YES..
He opted to view another person[inyass] as God and also considered himself a God, that is not a concern to Muslims, he might as well worship a cow or tree WE muslims will just assume there are afflictions ravaging his being.

But the moment he claims he is still a Muslim and that's Islam he's practicing, Muslims have every right to step in, ascertain and give a verdict viz a viz the gravity of his action/inaction.

One thing with useless beliefs is that it blinds one to simple objectivity and lets their emotions drive their deduction over premises that have to do with their belief..

Last i checked when Muhammed started as a young prophet he also spoke against the Gods of Meccah, that to you is commendable..

Here you are openly supporting the murder of a man who is doing same only because your own God is the victim now..

Your mind is no different from that of ISIS.. Muslims will always like to argue that islamic extremists are not of Islam, these people are following islamic fundamentals and that means something is wrong with the fundamentals of islam.

"Islam is a religion of peace" should always end with "Just kidding"..

Nigeria is a huge disappointment, a secular nation recognizing the application of religious laws on it's judicial system.

This country is a joke... One of those days i wish we are separate countries
[/quote]Well, an objective person if asked to commend or condemn the Muslims in Kano regarding this incident will undoubtedly praise their action unequivocably, if indeed what you allege about emotional outburst is true, the man in question and anyone he have a cordial relation with will be dead by now, consumed by jungle justice.

This country is not a joke, I agree there are tons of nut jobs e.g abdul inyass who use to profess he's a deity of some sort and could fulfill every humanoid dream including dashing every form/kind of knowledge at will to people after ridiculing seekers of education, who consciously try to steal people's peace swapping it with tension, hardship, grief and death.

Even more nitwittedly bound are the pathetic primitive lunatics aiding and abetting his evil facade masking it with tales about "opinions and freedom of speech".

This duo of inconsistent and senseless bunch represents everything against amiable peaceful coexistence and common good... One of those days I wish they are fed to the guillotine.

Would there be free state if there is no country?

I think if indeed those laws are so barbaric the constitution wouldn't have accomodated them to the extent of establishing courts and judges catered for from the proceeds of tax payers money.

The fact that they are still functioning and passing judgements, capital offence/punishment inclusive shows your mental backwardness and outward barbarity reeking of arrogance and ignorance.

Muhammad(SAW) never insulted their gods.there is a difference between constructive criticism and openly insulting and inciting hatred and crises.

I know of one of such opinions which is the cause of the afore mentioned societal vices, it is that of Muhammed of which you venerate and revere..

Now you seek to condemn another for holding an opinion only because it contradicts that which you hold dear..

The truth remains he haven't committed one crime, more so Islamic ideologies have committed far worse and condemnation of such person just for exercising his franchise is an even graver crime than you can ever accuse him of.

So one thing you fail to understand also is that your religious dictates also are ideas (opinions) which also have proven to be even far more dangerous...

How certain are you and how could you convince any right thinking person that breeding docile idle minded individuals will not lead to hoodlum spring?
No right thinking mind will ever support the murder of a man based on this your nonsensical presumption or should i say assumption that he will lead to societal vices which he haven't done yet.

I might as well then suggest the army arrest you because you show potentials of an Islamic extremist.

Isn't that better?

He opted to view another person[inyass] as God and also considered himself a God, that is not a concern to Muslims, he might as well worship a cow or tree WE muslims will just assume there are afflictions ravaging his being.
But the moment he claims he is still a Muslim and that's Islam he's practicing, Muslims have every right to step up, ascertain and give a verdict viz a viz the gravity of his action/inaction.
There are many Islamic sects which conflicting ideas and all share the tag muslim.. I don't see how that becomes an offence for a new one.. I don't see how deserves the blood of another human who did nothing but just make some delusive claims..

Well, an objective person if asked to commend or condemn the Muslims in Kano regarding this incident will undoubtedly praise their action unequivocably, if indeed what you allege about emotional outburst is true, the man in question and anyone he have a cordial relation with will be dead by now, consumed by jungle justice.
The actions of the Muslims in Kano is one deserving of stark condemnation and opposition and yours as one who supports such barbarism makes you even more guilty than the accused.

Cus i do not see how someone making claims is more wrong than murder...

I also know some nut jobs who think that some deity talked to some dirty arab man in a cave, gave him some revelations and some shabby books that contains universal knowledge and moral guidance which charges the murder of individuals who speaks against such ideas..

This idea also is even more guilty of wreaking untold violence, death and hardship on this planet but you hold this to be true and revere it but here you are condemning another for holding his own ideas on the presumptions that it might get bad in the future.

when yours already is

Even more nitwittedly bound are the pathetic primitive lunatics aiding and abetting his evil facade masking it with tales about "opinions and freedom of speech".
Going by this then you shouldn't also have the rights to Chant "Allahu Akbah"

He has his freedom of speech just like you do and also his freedom and right to hold an idea just like you have yours..

You don't get it .. Your right to hold an idea those not give you the right to force others to live by it

This duo of inconsistent and senseless bunch represents everything against amiable peaceful coexistence and common good... One of those days I wish they are fed to the guillotine.
This proves you are no more than ISIS or BOKO HARAM which qualifies you to be accorded the exact treatment you wish others…

Now you have proven to us that unjust murder, violence and forceful coercion is a fundamental basis in ISLAM which of course is the core value of Islamic extremism found in ISIS and others.

This you have confirmed to be a fundamental basis of Islam which is dangerous to continuous peace of our species..

Take our the wood in your own eyes before offering to remove the spec of dust in another

I don't see how it is any different from what this person did and i don't see how that makes anyone deserves death sentence.

Except in the court of absolute barbarism and madness

Oh please shut up.

Do you support the death penalty for buhari too since his utterances has lead to the death of people in the past especially innocent youth Corp members.

I can't believe you're stylishly supporting this evil. Tufiakwa.
