The "I Love Lagos" video is dope but something that looks like a "minor error" is giving me concern about the academic status of the producer/editing crew of the award winning video producer: Unlimited LA.

I'm not a native speaker of English but judging from the little I learned while in JSS 1, I feel it's absolutely wrong to use "An" before a consonant in a sentence.

Now, the questions is: is it okay to write it that way or not.

The MSAYC is not actually a word. It is an acronym which is pronounced as Emm-Ess-Aa-Wai-See so yes you would use the 'AN' to qualify it.

Something like "An M.S.A.Y.C Production" and if you're to spell the letter "M" it will be "em" making it a vowel sound.

'an' could b used for consonant but only letter 'h' but for only words that as a silent 'h'
I.e - an hour
I.e - a house
* 'an hour' as a silent 'h' unlike the second example.
