Suspected cult members on Tuesday night murdered a middle-aged bricklayer identified as Odion Egbegbe in Ose quarters, Ogida, Benin City, Edo State. Egbegbe’s killing brought to two the number of people killed in the renewed cult war in the city.

The Divisional Police Officer in the area, Mr. Lawrence Adejo, who confirmed the killing, said a barber simply identified as Bright was also killed two weeks ago in the area. Like Egbegbe, who was dragged out of his apartment, shot and beheaded, Bright was also pulled out of his shop located opposite Ogida police barracks and shot dead. According to the DPO, the cult war is between the Eiye and Aye confraternity in the area.

Sad thing is.

At the Birth of these Murderers, people gathered for their naming ceremony, not knowing that they are rejoicing over the birth of Devils into this World. This is Benin City, and not Syria where those crazies called ISIS behead in the name of Allah.

But, what kind of mind do these guys have?i mean kill a person and stick around to cut his head off?a lot of people are not just Black in their skin Colour, but also Black in their Minds.

To the Young Students on Nairaland, that belong to one Confra or the other. This picture is enough to send a strong message to you, that the time to give up on Confraternity is now.

So sad you’re not alive to read this post I’m commenting on. R.I.P great soul. Came across this post today and it’s 8 years on or so ago. Who knows what life holds? Nobody. For the sake of memory and reverence, I’d plead the MODs to please push this back to FP in honor of you as your advice herein is candid.
