I just saw your thread, if you're going to Calabar from Umuahia, follow the normal tower rad which leads to Itam park round about, take the round about and follow the federal highway till you reach till you get to Odukpani, and proceed till you reach 8miles. If you still go further, you might reach stadium which is situated in the heart of Calabar.

NB: roads from Umuahia to Akwa Ibom isn't wide so be careful, road from Akwa Ibom thru Odukpani till 8miles in Calabar is terrible. If you're driving, pls take it easy, and go with a person who knows the route.

thanks for commenting. I intend using public transport and am going alone. Am actually heading for ogoja.


am actually coming from Imo (through Obowo) so you mean I should stop at Tower ?

Oh you're heading to Ogoja from IMO, I haven't been to Ogoja before. Its best you take the journey from Cross line park in IMO state. Cross line is Cross rivers state's govt commercial transport company and I think they go to Ogoja.

If you are going to ogoja, no need to go to calabar cos from umuahi to ogoja is almost the same distance from calabar to ogoja. If you are mobile, drive from tower to Okigwe to uturu then to ebonyi state, pass through abaomege to ugep in cross river then to ogoja, or you pass through abaomege to abakiliki then take the ogoja road in abakiliki to ogoja. That's the fastest way. Going to calabar is a very long journey cos ogoja is in northern part of cross river why calabar is in South. But if you are not mobile take a bus to abakiliki then another one to ogoja.
