....I stood up and made my way to where Nonso had described Tasha was.. Arriving there I discovered she had already left.
I wasn't disappointed cause I was actually considering going back to class cause I was nervous on what I'd answer to Tasha's question.
I had a sigh of relief.
* I got home and my mom arrived at about 5:30pm from work,
It was about 8pm when we had finished having dinner that I had the urge to tell my mom what had happened at school concerning the question Tasha asked me, cause I'd always tell my mom everything that happens at school, But that particular day I had felt I shouldn't let her know.. I had the feeling that what Tasha and I were upto wasn't right and letting my mom know may stare up something that would end badly for me. So I kept silent about everything.
NEXT DAY:
It was Friday so I was on my P.E vest and white sparkling canvas.
I zoomed to my class and greeted my cliques, I was unusually full of vibes and action that particular day. I even said hello to Esther (we've not been speaking to each other often since the day we had a fight in the toilet... We had withdrawn form each other and only spoke occasionally).
Assembly ended at about 9am and there was no glimps of Tasha (it was unlike her since she was very punctual and usually arrives before commencement of assembly)..
Second period had ended and there was no sign of her, I then resulted that she's was not gonno come. The vibes I had mounted up suddenly dropped and I resumed to my normal attitude (acting like an introvert).
''Tasha didn't come''- Nonso said in dismay like he felt disappointed.
Me: hmmm.. Should I cry?
Nonso: or she's probably not feeling fine.
#I didn't reply#
Nonso: what if she changed school and she's not coming back?
Me: better! Cus I don't even like her self and I don't want her to come back.
*if only could thunder strike liars*
Nonso: Are you sure? Cus you're now quiet as usual.
Me: uncle! Nonso is making noise and disturbing me.
#I shouted in frustration cus the guy appeared to be taunting me#
Uncle: oya Nonso, face your front.
*Nonso gave me a ridicule smile.. he probably understood my frustration*

It was about 1pm when we were suddenly called up to the assembly hall for what we thought was an 'announcement'..
I wondered why they hadn't made the it in the morning.
The entire primary school section was gathered in the hall and the principal and a lady whom we've never seen arrived together. The principal greeted us
and introduced the woman as Mrs Dolapo..
''do you know you all are wonderful and brilliant children'' - Principal.
'' yes!'' - students Chorused
''And do you also know you all are properly trained and well disciplined?'' - principal.
''Yes!!'' - students.
''Good! But it seems some of you have failed to realise that and you've decided to drag the name of the school to the mud..''
*everyone went quiet, you could almost hear your heart beat!*
Principal continued: '' some of you have refused to accept the scrupulous training and sound morals your teachers and I are working so hard to imbibe into you. Some of you have also decided to currupt others and cause heart aches to your parents who labour day and night to ensure you're are in a school like LLLLL..
But before you try to annull our effort, we'll first wrought you to uprightness.''
*I was feeling quite uneasy cus I wondered if Nonso had gone to tell his mom about the secrets we kept (we were partners at crime).
'but that's isn't Nonso's Mom' -I thought within myself cus I knew her well.*
''Mr John (my class teacher).. How many pupils are absent from your class?'' - principal
'' just two ma.'' - Mr John
'' what are their names?''- principal.
'' Tasha and Emma (surnames withheld)''
*that was when I suddenly noticed and it suddenly came to my realisation that Emma was also absent from school *

. . . . . After Mr John had alighted the principal that Emma was absent from school, it then dawn on me that I hadn't seen him all day and Tasha wasn't around as well. I was worried.
I began thinking of the worst things those two could be upto.
''could they have skipped school and went to an hide-out to continue what I had saw some days ago?..... What could they be doing right now ?'' - I thought within me.
''Emma is in this premises, look around. Goto the toilet.. Search everywhere'' - Principal interrupted my thought.
*what could be the problem?- I tried to figure it out*
#immediately the male teachers scattered around in 'haunt' for Emma and went in different directions...#
*Nonso walked upto me*
Nonso: I wonder what Emma is upto.
Me: I think the woman that came with big aunty is his mom.
Nonso: yes! Am sure.. Do you know what am thinking?
Me: shut up!.. Don't say it. We're outside and people may hear you.
Nonso: keep quiet! Who has our time?.. I think Emma and Tasha are both in this trouble together.. How can both of them be absent on the same day? Am sure they're upto something.
Me: I hope they get caught..
''we've found him ma''- one of the teachers shouted while dragging a repelling Emma who was like someone avoiding persecution.
Principal: good, bring him up here.
*The principal and the teachers made a little quiet talk while Emma was ordered to kneel.
Emma was sweating profusely looking dirty and he had a tight face on.. Like a criminal having no remorse.*
Principal: now listen up children.. kneeling before you is Emma X a primary 4 pupil. Standing by my side is his mother who works hard to pays his school fees and ensure he lacks no basic needs. But Emma doesn't appreciate his mom's effort, he is disobedient, disrespectful and doesn't help his mother at home. Is that the way a good child should behave?''
students chorused: NOO!!
Principal: in addition to his nulchalant character Emma also steals the hard earn money his mom makes in her store and uses it to go and play video games.
This morning Emma's mom came to tell me that Emma stole N1785 from her purse yesterday and used it to buy a Niltedo game.''
* the hall went wild! There were total disarray in the place and everyone was shocked on hearing what the principal had said.
We were cautioned and ordered to keep quiet by the teachers*
''I called you out here to witness what we do to pupils who are keen on toiling the name of this school.. Pupils who are disobedient and are not appreciative of the effort putten by their parents to steer up a good future for them........
Mr Wole.. Come and teach this boy a lesson.
*Mr Wole approached Emma while binding two 'water cane' with a rubber band*
#I was glad! Nothing feels better than seeing your enemy whoopped before your eyes#
''take off his uniform!''- principal ordered Mr Wole.
* at this moment everyone in the hall developed concave lenses to catch a glimpse of what was behind the bully's uniform.*
#I had a broad smile.. I had every reason to be glad!
I, Nonso and other smallish pupils had suffered alot from Emma's claws.. I never played outside during break till I got to primary 4 cus he'd always demand money from me,, failure to give him what he asks would initiate some bruising.. We've been classmates since KG3 and we were cool then till he started taking the biscuit my mom would give me and drinking my tea. I'd starve till the end of school then. I told my mum and she reported to my class teacher (of KG 3) who ensured Emma never collected my meal till we got promoted to Primary 1.
Main problem started when we were promoted to Primary 2, he had suddenly grown so much bigger than I (though he was much older).. He began whooping my a*s after school and ordering me to do his assignments during closing period. I and some others always did his portion of labour every first last Friday.
................. So seeing Emma about to be humiliated in presence of the entire school was so overwhelming and I almost let out tears of Joy. It was too good to be true!#
* Emma attempted to run when Mr Wole told him to take of his unform but he was held and brought back by some teachers who eventually stripped him*
''Take off his pants!'' - principal.
*The 3 teachers who were holding Emma forced their way in taking his panties off cus he was dragging and trying to let himself loose from their grasps...
But at the end..................... The teachers prevailed and the entire school saw Emma's small cigar!

. . . . . I tell you confidently without missing words that these incident happened really. Emma was stripped of his uniform and was trashed 12strokes or more and that marked the beginning of a new era. The humiliation obviously crushed Emma's ego as the 'most feared' student in school and he suddenly became more quiet and polite.
He never bothered me since then.

SUNDAY EVENING:
Mom and I hardly went out but there was no light in the neighbourhood so she decided we pay a visit to her friend who lived near by.
Mrs Rotimi and my mom both finished from the same university and she was one of my mom's favourite friends, She had two children- a boy and a girl, Fayose and Roseline respectively.
Fayose was same age with me and we were older than Roseline with 2years or so.
When we arrived at Mrs Rotimi's house (her husband doesn't live with them), out of joy Fayose immediately grabbed my arm and took me to his room showed me his toys and cool shoes while Mrs Rotimi and my mom went to her room.
Fayose and I were both playing in his room when I suddenly saw Roseline walked in. . she said her mom had ordered her to come play with us for her not to feel neglected and lonely.
She joined us in the spelling game we were playing and she received alot of slaps (The rule of the game was if you mis-spell a word, you'll receive a slap at the back of your hand).
We eventually got tired of the game and she was almost crying due to the slap she was receiving so we decided to read stories from a story book. The lamp in the sitting room was brighter and we all moved to the sitting room.
I sat on the double chair while Fayose sat adjacent to me and Roseline was sitting beside me.
We decided to take turns in reading and Fayose was first..
Roseline was kinda leaning on me probably feeling sleepy, she was putting on a night gown.
Suddenly I remembered what Esther and I used to do in class ( I used to rub her thighs) before we had our fight.
Out of impulse I placed my hands on Roseline's knee. There was no adjustment or reaction from her.
I removed my hand.
After a while she adjusted closer to me and her thighs were touching my waist. I got the signal and immediately placed my right hand on her thighs.. She moved her gown upper and I started massaging her thighs.
It was difficult for Fayose to see what was happening because the lamp was close to the book and he seemed to be enjoying what he was reading.
* suddenly we heard Mrs Rotimi's door open, I swiftly removed my hands like i had touched hot oil and Roseline immediately adjusted her gown down.*
''oya.. Leke.. Lets go! It's dark already''- My Mom.

* It was about 8:30pm when Mrs Roseline and her children escorted my mom and I to the gate when we suddenly heard two gun shots. . We hurriedly zoomed back into the house and Mrs Rotimi quickly locked the door.
We stayed inside the the house for some minutes when we heard another gun shot.*
''Maybe robbers dey rob around''- Mrs Rotimi said to my mom.
''una nor fit go house today, make una just sleep over to be on a safer side'' -Mrs Rotimi added.
#my mom was kinda reluctant to sleep over but with much persistence from Mrs Rotimi, she agreed#
we were all in the sitting room and I was reading the story book while Mrs Rotimi praised me for reading fluently at my age.
About an hour spent my mom had gone to bed in Mrs Rotimi's room and told me to ensure I pee before I sleep..
At about 10pm the light came and Mrs Rotimi then told us to go to bed and switch off the fan. I and Fayose begged her that we wanted to watch a cartoon Fayose showed me and we promised her we were not gonno take long.
With much pleading she agreed but told us she'll come over some in some minutes to switch off the tv.
''Roseline, oya come lets go and sleep''- Mrs Rotimi
'' but mommy am not feeling sleepy.. Let me watch cartoon with them a little.. please''- Roseline said quietly like she was about to cry.
*Mrs Roseline remained insistent but when she saw Roseline's eyes bringing out tears, she allowed her stay and told us a more reason why she's coming back sooner*

we were laying on the floor and I was at the middle when I suddenly felt a leg m...............................
