What people don't get is that it doesn't matter who is the better musician/entertainer. If your work is stolen, it hurts. It doesnt matter by who. Plagiarism/copyright infringement is a serious crime. I mean taking someone else's intellectual work is really really annoying.

I confided in someone about some project idea I had and was still gathering materials for it only for the same person to come to me with a friend's work years later. Not only did the person give her friend my ideas, but the friend also did a shoddy piece of assemblage and I just shook my head. I confronted the confidant and as expected I got denials.
Artists steal everyday. Just give any of them your demo tape and the next week you are listening to a new single from the artist with your work modified and adapted to his style. And when you raise ruckus, people will say you are trying to ride on the thief's success and launch your career.

The most annoying part of this thrash is the part where fools (Krane and Olamide) make noise about being "street". It's very annoying indeed. So Krane thinks he can just go and beat up Wizkid and nothing will happen? What a senseless loud mouthed idiot..

Wizkid is even likely more 'street' than this idiot and Olamide combined. It's about the backing you have, not how loud or coarse your voice is.

You spoke my mind,nairaland is a congregation of dafft people.Once you are a popular celebrity then you become untouchable and capable of doing no wrong.When a certain unknown artiste called password accused davido of stealing gobe from him,the guy was bashed and accused of wanting to use davido to gain popularity but in the end the truth was revealed and the guy was vindicated.
Nigeria needs strict laws for stuffs like intellectual theft because it's becoming too rampant nowadays.
