I am not APC OR PDP. I am an advocate of better Nigeria. There is no lesser evil to choose from. They are evils. Since APC entered the government all I see in Nigeria is hatred. It is not good for a nation like ours which host different People. The painful truth is that their method is working for them but I seriously doubt if it will stand the test of time.

Nigeria media know how to twist and sensationalise comments. He never said or meant that Buhari copied Jonathan's budget but that the problems of the past budgets have not been addressed in this budget going by the story you posted.

No.1. You tagged his government and budget allocation as corrupt.
No.2. You called him clueless and spineless yet you borrowed his ideas.
There is nothing wrong in continuity if you can also accept your wrongs and not blame them on the previous administration.
Yes the most important thing is implementation but this administration has an F9 on that area.
No Economic implementation.

About five people have been reported killed in Niger state, following a bloody clash between supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

A political riot in Niger state has led to the death of five people.
The clash occurred at about 8pm on Thursday, January 14, Barely 24 hours to the local government elections in Niger State.

Police spokesman, Bala Elikanah, confirmed the incident, saying it was a case of an accident that turned sour.

Elikana said the crisis happened after both parties held their campaigns in the ancient city.

It was learnt that two of the deceased were from an accident involving an APC vehicle which ran into a crowd of PDP supporters.

This Day reports that the situation degenerated to a free for all, leading to the attacks on members of both parties.

The aggrieved members of the PDP burnt brooms and threw them at APC supporters, leading to attack and deaths on the other side.

The remains of the deceased were deposited at the federal medical centre in Bida.

Meanwhile, the PDP has called for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari, Kemi Adeosun, the minister of finance, and minister of budget and national planning, Udo Udoma, alongside the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.

The call comes following the recent saga within the Nigerian Senate, in which the 2016 national Budget was declared missing

the issue is not copying the template, the issue is what is the economic policy of the present administration, we have been shouting the government is not investing for years, we just keep borrowing to run the country, how do we pay back without investing.

your question takes us back to the issue of policy formulations and implementation which has over the years left in the hands of inept politicians and corrupt civil servants, we will keep having a budget of nothingness until drastic measures are taken. technocrats not just in names must be engaged to take us out the fiscal cliff.

You are right.

And they stole the budget again to remove GEJ name they mistakenly included in the copy work..

Many people on this forum are simply unable to reason logically, or maybe too lazy to reason out logically. Budget could be similar, that is not a problem. Over the years, the problem with our budget has always been implementation. Pat Utomi was very specific about it when he said he will not analyse Nigerian budget again since they are hardly implemented. One thing I am very sure of about this administration is that it will implement the budget.

And to Soludo, you can't be completely right as at no time was GEJ's budget ever had 30% for capital project. And to those who don't know, a budget can never be perfect, it is subject to scrutiny and review here and there. That is the reason the house must approve it, and the reason at a particular time during its implementation, a supplementary one comes out.
