Calls for Mr. President resignation championed by the opposition party PDP has been making linelight recently and following Buhari's outburst with the parents of the missing Chibok girls yesterday, that calls have been reinvigorated. The main cause for the calls for the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari though is the over Nigeria’s alleged missing 2016 budget, the All Progressives Congress (APC) have given the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) a venomous and resounding reply. APC dismissed the call for the impeachment of President Buhari as “comical”, stressing that the whole propaganda was nothing but a cheap ploy to taint the image of the ruling party and to hamper the progress of the current administration. PDP asked the National Assembly to impeach the president, and called for the resignation of the finance minister, Kemi Adeosun, and budget and national planning minister, Udo Udoma. The party also demanded the resignation of the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele. The PDP attacked the president Thursday, January 14, after the senate accused the presidency of altering the 2016 budget. If d missing Budget saga happened under GEJ, APC would have set d whole country on fire by now. d insults they would have dished on GEJ will be unimaginable. Buari stealing d budget without following due process is an act of disrecpect to d national assembly. doctoring a country's national budget without due process is worse dan corruption. Buari should be impeached immediately. |

This is a very straightforward issue. The so called new Appropriation bill is null and void. If government want to withdraw the former, all they need do is make formal request. That said, Ita Iyang should resign if indeed he orchastrated it on his own. |

Wahala, propaganda and sabotage everywhere. Well the present government did the same to the previous government so I can say they are reaping the fruit of their labour. NOTE: we need to call our journalists to order in Nigeria. We can't allow corrupt, lazy journalism filled with lies and hate. A lot of people enjoy it now but this is dangerous in the long run. |

APC should STFU and explain to Nigerians how they smuggled another budget into the national assembly. A similar scenario triggered the Watergate scandal and Richard Nixon resigning |
