All because the easy money has stopped flowing. This is what happens when you pay touts to maintain peace, sooner or later it unravels. The army should be called in to deal with these touts ASAP. They have NO legitimate reason for this.
And that is the reason i consider Obasanjo to be the worst President Nigeria ever had. He started this crap and everyone followed suit. He thoroughly mismanaged the country and began a policy that is the norm today. From sharia to "settling" militants. I weep for that country. This man had the chance to really bring change to Nigeria but for some reason decided to destroy the country.

So it takes a refurbished gunboat,"means and connections" to prosecute a war against a state?
The way some of u reason sometimes is beyond comprehension.
Thank you sir some pips just don't know what the nation Nigeria can do via the military.

All these things are happening simply because our fraud of a constitution won't be jettisoned for true federalism.

You all can keep biting about the bush but group on different fronts will keep demanding and asking questions about a union they never consented to.

North = Biko Haram
East=. IPOB Biafra
South. Mend/Militancy
West. OPC ( though unserious)

It's appears that the dwellers of the four cardinal points of the geograpical expression have a rouse with the constitution which have taken something away from them.

Unless the FG insist on the treasonable action of killing its citizens while they fearful and ignorantly cheer on, it is time to end this illegal and failed 50yrs constitutional arrangement

Do you want compare bravery of Boko haram with militants? There is wide difference because Boko Haram are so deadly that they do not mind to die will militants are so coward that they do not want die. I bet you slight attack on them by the Nigerian military, they will all disperse, surrender and flee for their life.
so on point....

God bless you for that sentence. Nigerians generally don't know what's good for them even if is starring them in the face, or sitting on their noses or perching on their fore heads. When you deprive an individual of basic legal rights, you are setting a precedence that can never be sustained. Who would want to turn themselves over to the law, when there is a likelihood that you would never see daylight again because of the refusal of the government to obey court orders? #Dasuki.

in my opinion u started well but concluded badly. No individual ot group is more powerful than the state. By the time the military begin to shell the creek and pick up Tompolo all of u will be shouting rule of law. There is no breach of law in what us being done and statement coming from Tompolo now.
Again whose environment are being destroyed and degraded. The guy has made much money doing nothing at the expense if the niger delta region yet some people in the area see him as their idol.
thirdly, we should know that it not Jonathan that is there today but a military man that knows strategy and could be extremely brutal to deal with the people concerned. Infact Odi might be a tip of iceberg if care is not taking.

those that know those involved should caution them now and not to begin to attack Buhari when he retaliate.
Bros, if you will be truthful to yourself, the ND struggle is the first successful agitation in Nigeria's history. Tompolo, Boyloaf, Ateke Tom and others held Nigeria to a standstill before, they can do it again.

The problem of underdevelopment in the SS even after the successful struggle is a different issue altogether. It also bedevils other regions, including the north, east, and west. So I fail to see your point.

Lastly, the army under Jonathan killed John Togo, so I don't get your point.

Let PMB retaliate. PMB is not Gowon! Mk him shift go one side.

Now their brothers supporting them should be happy, but there brothers will still suffer most. My advice is that once they scatter their backward regions more they should not come down to Lagos, because here is overcrowded already; they should just face the consequences of their actions.

Continue deceiving them. Copmaring d power of an individual or small group of people with Nigeria has a nation. No amount of weapon could those militants possessed that can make them to withstand d government. Mark it you will realise this soon.
No be because of say GEJ concede defeat to PMB, you go kon dey feel say PMB na god. Had GEJ contested that election, person like you for don dey bargain with Angel Gabriel now whether na heaven or hell you suppose enter.

Look at history, ND militants (comprising Tompolo et al) are the first and only group in Nigeria to have held the military to a standstill. Ojukwu tried and failed, Yusuf tried and failed. Tompolo tried and succeeded. Keep dreaming!

I am only concerned about the humanitarian costs of renewed hostilities in the region, I get family and friends for the region.

there is nothing in SS. Those facilities are oil facilities. After the bombings FG and the oil company will rebuild it. It is their source of income. Are they bombing buildings? No, Hospitals? No. So what are you saying those installations will be built back before two weeks abi FG no need oyel money?

I just laugh @ Lord, he doesn't know you cannot fight government no matter how much billions you have acquired. Worse come to worst the whole Country will suffer for the oil facilities destroyed and I can tell you it's the ND that will suffer for it the most coz your land will be the war zone, your only source of livelihood is Oil other regions have other things they are into. So I advice the likes of @Lord making mouth to better warn Tompolo to submit himself.

MILITANTS continued bombing of oil installations, last night, in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.

The details were still sketchy this morning, but it was learned that they blew up the Abiteye flow station and Sagara to Chevron pipelines.

“Some of are already trapped in our communities because of the bombings, the target for now may be Chevron facilities,” a worried riverside dweller told Vanguard.

More details coming

LordAdam:
Yesterday, Tompolo distanced himself from the attacks.

Tompolo is in a quagmire. First, the success of the ND freedom fight was because there were a lot of groups with shared objectives fighting concurrently in different sections of the SS. Now, it is just Tompolo, and, if he was fighting, his reason for fighting would be for himself and not the region, which means he would not enjoy the wide support from the majority of militants.

Two, most of the militants are already enjoying a massive welfare package and will be less likely to return to the creeks because of one commander's selfish interests.

But with that said, we should all remember that Tompolo has been receiving at least N1b from the government every month in personal welfare packages and defense contracts since Amnesty started in 2009. That is aside the obvious bunkering he has been involved in as a side gig.

Also, remember how he bought a war ship sometime ago? The fact is that at the moment, Tompolo has the money, the means, and the connections to prosecute a war on the Nigerian state without even been in the country. With the supply glut, low oil prices, and an army that is reeling from a challenging BH war, Nigeria will not be as ready to fight this renewed conflict as they were earlier under Yaradua.

But then again, Tompolo can't just submit himself to the authorities. The authorities have a poor record of respecting the judiciary. That is the quagmire. Once again, thousands will likely die because of the interests and actions of a few.
