I had earlier read USA experts would train the Engineers, so if they'll be sponsored outsied Nigeria, one expects the medicals to be thorough. Dangote wouldn't want to invest on a sick (permit for that word) worker.

Thanks for your reply. Just like you used to say, I'm praying and remain hopeful that "SL" on our status means "ShortListed" and we'll be called for interview soon.

Are u saying the Nov. Applicants will be including without receiving interview invites? We really need to know what to expect n how soon!!!!!! Please do inquire on our behalf.

ok. let me calm pple nerves. you see this 650000bpd refinery under construction, when completed will be d fifth largest in d world. it is so large that a workforce abt a thousand will stil not be enough for the plant. year on year recruitment wil b takin place. dat being said. at d signing ceremony of d training grant awarded by ustda to d dangote group, it was revealed dat d grant wil be used specifically for multi year training activity(1,2,3,4yrs....). so pple will b sent for trainin as they are recruited. dat bein said, d company facilitating d trainin is uop. and d trainin is customized for its client. it can be done onsite or at one of their regionaltrain

at one of their regional training centers (RTC) around the world. so in short, d refinery needs a lot of manpower. capable ones at dat. its projected to create about 6000 direct jobs. so they will keep on recruiting for now. more invites for offers, more invites for assessment and interviews. knowing dis, take ur mind off it and relax and amazingly, ur wishes wil come true. SL is not SHORTLISTED, it actually meant Senior level. CV Senior Level based and awaiting scheduling interview, my mind is telling me that, this Nov batch is another recruitment drive. Some will still be called for a test probably to undergo the same process that August applicant undergone.

We now have 3 meanings to SL.

SHORTLIST
SKILL LEVEL
SENIOR LEVEL

It has 1 meaning to me though and that is individual involved MIGHT go through Interview or possibly get the job directly with respect to relevant experiences and the numbers needed for such position.

Senior level? U really believe it means senior level? Wow! So what it means is "CV BASED SENIOR LEVEL CLEARED AND AWAITING SCHEDULING INTERVIEW"

seriously, as helpful has u guys are,sometimes, u confuse me!!Anyways, the most important part of that statement is, " awaiting interview"....
How soon? What to expect? would we take a test?
All these are the mystery only time can tell
