Just as Bubu was made, by any means, to appear before Oputa Panel when he was summoned, right? undecided undecided

I didn't know someone already threw that at you. Zombies everywhere

Did Oputa panel have any law setting it up or backing it? Oputa panel was just a jamboree. Attendance was not compulsory. Justice Oputa did not tell you he had powers to declare anybody guilty or innocent, or even the legal right to summon anybody. That was why people like IBB, Buhari, Abdulsalami declined the invitation to attend.

If Jonathan is summoned by a legally constituted court, he has no choice but to appear, else he would charged for contempt.

Or is President GEJ's case is an exception?
How many former presidents have had their era probed?

Even when Obasanjo, then President, appeared before the panel, he was telling the lawyers how to question him. This can't happen in a court. At a point, he said that he won't sit there and be insulted.

I have this simple advice for the APC government. It is eloquently contained in Winston Churchill's words:

If they can't decipher the message in the proverb then I'm sorry, I can't help them.

What if the barking of the dogs is actually a clue to getting a better route to the destination?

Before the commencement of the arrest GEJ visited Aso rock and what he told PMB was that he was not aware of large scale looting perpetuated in his administration and PMB make it clear he will get to the root
For GEJ to come out now will mean he actually knew and lied to earlier exonorate himself. Hence his Golden silence is necessary and in order.
If he had said he didn't know about it, he need not talk except it is otherwise found to be true.
Furthermore the $2.1 is real, it was money appropriated for arms which the last administration misapprioaprated. Please let note innocent lives lost, we lost soliders (that is why investigation of military chiefs is justifiable, they ought to understand better yet their were quick to pass death sentence on the soldiers)
Please let remove sentiment and stand for a great Nigeria. Just imagine your loved one or bread winner had died because he was forced to the war front ill-equipped how will you feel or imagine you are engineer told to climb a tower with a bad ladder or a banker told to count billions of note without a machine yet you will be punished for errors.
armsgate is a propaganda nothing real about it!

Has there been any "saintly" government in Nigeria... before or after?

Well, some past Presidents and Heads of State has been asked to appear before courts or panels and they disobeyed.

You people talk like tata ( babies). If Nigeria stops selling oil, who would starve the most - Oyo or Bayelsa state or even enugu state? Who produces more food? what will bayelsians sell to earn income? Fish? If Nigeria stops selling crude and hence have no money to import food, the east and south south would suffer worse starvation than the north and west.

Dont worry!! By the time Buhari is stupid enough to even attempt to go after GEJ we would know between Osun and Enugu who will be complaining of hunger!!!let Buhari just dare!!

Can you tell me what you eat today? I am sure no item came from your state or even region. The rice is expired rice from china, the yam is from the north, the beaf or meat is from the north, even the tomato and pepper is from the north. If you ate chicken or turkey, that is rejected poultry from europe. So if your government does not recieve bail out from the federal government or IMF, how would you feed?

There has not been any previous government in Nigeria untainted with corruption.

Honestly the APC led Government lacks what it takes to run an Institution like Nigeria and as such they keeps distracting Nigerians and giving countless excuses. looking at the country and the economy you would observe that nothing is happening to improve the wellbeing of the masses. Their Supporters also knew quite alright that nothing is happening.

When the time is right, he will be forced to speak up. Dasuki and Metuh both refused to talk initially, today, they are both singing like canary bird. No amount of blackmail can derail the ongoing fight against corruption. You lovers of corruption can continue to come up with meaningless write ups as much as you like, it won't stop the current probe of the thieving GEJ's administration.

At the write time, Jonathan will be forced to give account of how he presided over the looting of over $2.1billion and there is nothing you wailers can do about it. For now, he should quietly wait for his turn.
