Well, this chart -a work in progress- prepared using information obtained from the website of Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) and multiple online news sources appears to suggest that more contract scams occur in Abuja than any other cities in Nigeria.

What do you think? View more of such charts at: http://www.nairacharts.com/charts/

This list isn't complete without akwa-ibom. Shaa, the present government is shielding the former... Just a matter of time

Please, note that as stated in the post (-work in progress-) we are constantly updating our database. The composition and information on the map may look different as we add more information to our database. The EFCC does not have a publicly accessible database. More so, their annual publication, "EFCC Convictions" (https://efccnigeria.org/efcc/index.php/convictions) does not go back than 2013. We built the database by going through several hundreds of pages of news stories on EFCC websites (https://efccnigeria.org) and thousands of pages of online news sources. It was an extremely tedious exercise but we would continue to update this and most likely approach EFCC to see if they could help with more information, though we wouldn't bank on that.
