"it involves sacrificing Humans!" Dem still dey do human sacrifice in this century over there Why is Yoruba land so backward and crude. I remember the time I traveled to Ekiti state... passing through Ita Ogbolu and other places in Ondo got me almost shedding tears . Aged women and children were atop mountain splitting huge stones to make ends meet. |

Donariok:Oh shut up!!! The Quran also mentioned Moses' name over 40times, does it mean we have to worship Moses ![]() And where in the Quran did it state that Mariam went to heaven in her physical state?? And yes, Jesus gave life by the permission of Allah, just the same way rasuulullah did by the permission of Allah!!! So what exactly are you saying ? |

The bitter truth is CHRISTIANITY and ISLAM are foreign religions to us Africans. Oro is a Yoruba tradition, practiced in a Yoruba community so it is allowed. My only grouse with the practice is that it should be done at the dead of the night without hitherto affecting the free movement of people especially those coming from their various work places. |

Oladipupo22:The Oro cult is a cleansing and security apparatus....you shouldn't have run, you should have dodge/hide instead. Moreover, you are male I presume and a son of the soil...you would only need to explain yourself.... The Oro cult is a taboo to ladies tho...there are some Oro that even men(ogberi=non-initiated) can encounter. |

Oladipupo22:Why did you run? And what makes you label our customs and traditions that have been passed down from age to age Barbaric? Yet you will see no problems with the Christian Tradition of Holy Communion that symbolizes Canibalism. Anyways, the Tecno is a shiity phone.. Your clothes you lost were ugly secondhand baffs. And you wallet did not contain more than 3'k. The bandwidth I have spent reading and responding to your thread costs way more than your total loss. Don't disrespect our culture, customs and tradition ever again. Now go buy yourself a Good Samsung Phone. |
