Akonke – A Farewell to Love
Akonke is an Afro-soul song by Arkbishop, a songwriter/comedian with the theme of break up. The song is a campaign for genotype awareness. It narrates the story of a young man addressing his lover who just discovered through a genotype test the incompatibility of the young couple and the need to break the relationship. Though, it is a song of love, preaches strength and the need for intending couples to know their genotype, and if the genotype is not compatible then the need for a separation.
