SINCERELY I NEVER WISH TO POST THIS BUT I TORT WITHIN ME DT IT MAY HELP THOSE WHO THINK 3RD CLASS DEGREE HOLDER ARE DULLARD OR UNSERIOUS STUDENT BACK IN SKUL. I WAS OFFERED ADMISSION INTO 200 LEVEL AT UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN TO STUDY SOCIOLOGY (I INITIALLY APPLIED FOR ECONOMICS) AFTER SCALING THROUGH A'LEVEL IJMBE EXAM (INTERIM JOINT MATRICULATION BOARD EXAMINATION) IN KWARA POLY IN 2008. BY 2009, I WAS OFFERED THE ADMISSION, I DONT WISH TO SIT BACK AT HOME AFTER SPENDING 2YEARS STUDYING FOR IJMB EXAM, THIS ADMISSION CAME IN AROUND NOVEMBER 27 I GUESS, BEING A SECOND BATCH, COLLEAGUES HAD STARTED LECTURE, THERE WAS NOTHING LIKE INTRODUCTION SINCE IT WAS NOT 100LEVEL CLASS. IN FACT, I REMEMBERED THAT MY FIRST DAY IN CLASS WAS A TEST DAY. I WAS BUSY TRYING TO SETTLE DOWN, REGISTER, PAY MY BILLS AND SO ON. MY FRIST SEMESTER WAS BAD CUS I HAD 5 CARRY OVERS, THESE AFFECTED ME ALL THRU MY PERIOD OF STUDY BUT THANK GOD I DID NOT SPILL NEITHER DID I HAVE ANY OTHER CARY OVER THRUOUT THE DURATION, BUT THOSE 5 COURSES AFFECTED MY RESULT.

I'M NOT TRYING TO JUSTIFED MYSELF BUT I'M LETTING YOU KNW THAT MANY 3RD CLASS CANDIDATE ARE NOT CARRYING A THIRD CLASS BRAIN. I WILL ALSO APPEAL TO THOSE OF KIND HEART AND WHO BELIEVE THAT MAN SHOULD NOT BE JUDGE BY HIS CERTIFCATE BUT BY RESULT SHOULD GIVE ME AN OPPORTUNITY AND I PROMISE YOU WONT REGRET THE DAY YOU TOOK SHUCH DECISION TO HELP A TOTAL STRANGER LIKE ME. I RESIDE IN THE SUBURB OF ABUJA, MARARABA TO BE PRECISE. THANKS

PLS PARDON MY ERROR AND GRAMATICAL BLUDER. ONE LOVE

Why did you write in blocks?

Why will you be looking for help and say your grammatical errors be excused?

On what parameters are you to be judged than what you've written up there?

My advice is edit your post, do away with all the errors and please drop the blocks. Also keep applying for jobs that interests you and don't put your grade in your CV.

Well, i dont know why you are complaining. I graduated with 3rd class in Nigeria. I did not behave like a victim. i did something about it. I left and did my masters in UK. Now i work in IT with a very good job. Its up to you if you want to see yourself as a victim. I am not saying leaving Nigeria is the solution but you have to do something rather that complaining. I know lots of people with 2.1 and Masters that don't have good jobs. Its your passion that matters.

I know of a third class graduate who earns more than those with first class. When you act like a victim, you become one.

Is there an unwritten law that all 3rd class graduates should write like they are addressing blind readers?
What's up with the caps?

Oshey dear..

Class of degree doesn't define a person's true worth... There are so many factors that determines d final grade.

Eg. Comfort, shelter, time, stress, money etc. and even family problems

Whichever you end up with.. Just give thanks

Sweethrt, you are not 3rd class; that paper certificate only gives 10% leverage in life, the other 90% comes with hard work, passion and attitude.
But I guess you know that already. Just don't sing it in caps, it hurts my eyes.
