hmm.... I remember 2011 when I was working in vom Christian hospital, this hemorrhagic fever is serious o. something needs to be done.
maybe, prompt identification n & treatment of suspect, quarantine of contacts, but the most important, good personal hygiene, proper preservation of food and handling/preparation, maybe, government should campaign for mass killing of the vector.
I'm scared for the IDPs, because if their may be outbreak in the camps then the casualties may be higher than expected.

Both diseases are caused by viruses, I think someone postulated that viruses do not occur naturally in nature, and that all viruses are engineered, is this true?

viruses are not engineered... if viruses were engineered then bacteria, fungi are and all microorganisms too

Viruses basically are RNA/DNA strands enclosed by a protein coat, they are the bridge between living and non living things. The genetic configuration of Bacteria, fungi and all microorganisms can actually be re-engineered using biotechnology.

I need to ask people like Pastor Daniel Olukoya of MFM this question, are there naturally occurring viruses in nature?

bacteria n fungi cld be engineered, but for specific purposes in biotechnology. e.g gentically modified plants, food etc.
but viruses are microorganisms made up of either RNA/DNA. however smaller in size compared to bacteria n fungi
