Seeing your name on your school's senate list means you will be moblized by your school for service.

Seeing your name on NYSC portal means your school has successfully uploaded your name and details and when the online registration starts on 8th of Feb, you can start your registration too!

I am a medical graduate who was deployed to Bauchi in stream 2 of batch B but i did not make camp becoz of i wasnt done with my internship coz of som issues. Am now revalidating but am rili not looking 4ward 2 service in bauchi. Those any1 know if nysc posts revalidating corpers bsck to their fomer states of deployment? Plz assist a bro wt info.

Nah! Your former posting doesn't affect the current one.


You might be posted to the same state or not. It just depends on the algorithm available when you register online!.

Please I have a problem,, my name was on the senate list B 15 along the line I did the first stage of registration but have not completed the online registration before I had an issue in my office so I decided to wait for A 16 batch so I went to my school for remobilization but they said I should wait during A 16 registration I shld just go and register but my status in the senate list is saying " matric no in use (by my email address of last year) instead of (matric no not in use u can now register) so am confused if I am eligible to register during A 16 this February or any further step to take?

Please I don't know what to do if I should relax and wait for 8th February to register

The reason why your name is showing is because you've already created an account on the portal and your application is ongoing.

What you'll to do when registration starts is to click on "Registration for ReMobilisation" instead of "Fresh application".


Moreso, I think you should be relaxed. And wait for Feb 8th. And also, you're eligible to register.

I don't think so because naturally REVALIDATION AND REMOBILIZATION CANDIDATES DOES THEIR ONLINE ACTIVITIES A WEEK BEFORE THE GENERAL FRESHERS. SO ALWAYS LOOK OUT FOR SUCH INFORMATION ON NYSC SITE ANY MOMENT FROM FEBRUARY 1ST

AND IN ITSELF MEANS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET A PROPER RESELECTION OF YOUR PREFERRED CHOICES AHEAD OF FRESHERS SINCE YOU ARE ALWAYS FEWER IN NUMBERs.

INFACT SOME PEOPLE DELIBERATELY DECIDED NOT TO HONOUR WHERE THEY WERE POSTED TO BECAUSE IT WAS NOT FAVOURABLE, HENCE DECIDED TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY WITH A16

A little concern to me now is that I just went through the List of accredicted courses on the NYSC platform 'portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc2/CheckInstitutionCourses' and realised my Department isn't listed among others for my School (Unical).
Will this significantly affect our chances of being mobilized?
