There are strong indications that the British Police authorities are in quandary over how to pursue the alleged money laundering offence against former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, as the investigators have failed to establish any wrongdoing by the former minister. Diezani Alison-Madueke had on Thursday January 21 appeared before an investigative hearing at the Charing Cross Police Station in London as part of the investigation into an alleged money laundering offence. However, she was again granted bail by the British Police authorities on the same condition given earlier and her case was adjourned to June 21, 2016. It was gathered that the long adjournment was not unconnected to the fact that the British Police has not been able to establish any strong evidence linking her with the alleged money laundering. The immediate past Nigerian Petroleum minister had last year in an interview with publisher of Ovation magazine, Dele Momodu, vehemently denied being part of any fraud and corruption during her tenure as the Minister of Petroleum Resources under former president Goodluck Jonathan, adding that she was only being hunted by her adversaries

The only place Nigeria would see Diezani would be in their dreams, she should remain in Britain until there's rule of law.
I wouldn't return if I was her, Buhari is now the President of the Supreme court as well as chief justice of the federation.

Stay in London, you won't get justice in Nigeria.

If the British Police invites our EFCC now, they will get sufficient evidence to pursue the case.

If you are not careful enough the media would have you side the oppressor against the oppressed. How the hell would one person steal 13billion pounds from the national treasury? Think people..

that is why i hate all APC zombie. the same British that Buhari be saying they we help fight corruption can not establish strong evidence against Alison Madueke. does it mean British can not fight corruption or shedding corruption? These is a country where rule of law is fundamentally established and dully observed, not zoology where judges will give valid law and certificate-less with rule out the law.

One of the thing I always ask mysef is : these alleged looters will they give me money if I continue to support them,no. But then z every wealthy person rich out of corruption, no.

Point is I can't use bcuz of poverty or lack support demonization of wealthy people simply bcuz of poverty. Sentiment aside, if u have been innocent of somethings they accused u of , u don't have moral stand criticizing or condeming people simply bcuz EFCC "accused" them of being corrupt.

And I fail to see a link, I'm very sure that the prosecutor if it does not have any further evidence or proof would drop the charges, Judges in UK have a propensity to strike out cases.

Fake propaganda to buy Dezaini some goodwill in Nigeria. The only reason the case has been extended is because of her health and nothing else. I'll now go find the case documents on the UK magistrate website.

Are you so daft? Corruption is fighting back because you couldnt find any evidence to back up your malicious claims? If you have a proof why dont you take it to the metropolitan police.

I bet this article was written by the same fool who said she was going to return to Nigeria at the end of November. grin
It is always funny when you read the conjectural musings of those who do not have foggiest idea of how the British justice system works.
