Open-source software (OSS) is computer software with its source code made available with a license in which the copyright holder provides the rights to study, change, and distribute the software to anyone and for any purpose. (Wikipedia)

Open source describes a broad general type of software license that makes source code available to the general public with relaxed or non-existent copyright restrictions.

The most popular Open source software in use today is the Linux operating system. It serves as the basis for the even more popular Android operating system.

Use of Linux in Nigeria is very low. One major factor is the huge relatively huge cost to download the various distributions of Linux with file sizes ranging from 400mb to as huge as 7.2GB (Centos)

To facilitate the uptake (hopefully) of Linux and aid developers who need to work in Linux but are put off by the huge file sizes, I will be offering the most recent Linux distros (at the time of request) to whoever requires them. However as this might result in large numbers of requests that will pile up and become expensive, interested parties will have to offset the Logistics cost of media purchase and shipping costs to your destination. I'm still thinking of the most cost effective means of shipping (most likely post office with 3-5 business days required for delivery)

Currently I have the most up recent versions for the following Distros

Kali (THE LEADING PENETRATION Testing tool on earth)
Ubuntu
Mint
ElemntaryOS
Debian
Fedora

I am also an avid aviation fan. The leading open source flight simulator is Flightgear sim. I have got the most recent installable file (for Windows) as well as the entire HD Map of the world and as well as all the aircrafts in the programs library (over 128GB of data).

Anyone interested should drop a comment and I am open to attend to you.

You can also make requests for any large open source software you require and I will see if it is feasible to g set to you. I am interested in seeing what open source software are widely used in Nigeria

There's a few. I get banned whenever I mention softwares here so I'm wary of mentioning any. But a good Google search with search term "Open Source Hotel Management" should point you in the right direction

Thank you so much sir. I tried using that google search but most times what they offer are trial versions for some times and thereafter you have to go premium which is on the high side
