Military men on rampage in my home town Amaekpu Ohafia.
Amaekpu Ohafia in Abia State is on fire as I write this. A serious reform is needed in the military.
A festival turns bloody as soldiers started flogging villagers celebrating festival in my home town.
A caller who narrated the story explained that soldiers who claimed they were blocked by masquerades while celebrating cultural festival started flogging everyone at sight. The situation went haywire as youths engaged the military and started fighting back.
A caller also claimed that the rampaging soldiers are beating both old and young as the military has taken over a peaceful community.
Asked if there is any casualty, he said that people have gone to hide and gunshots ongoing at the moment ,so its difficult to know whether there's a casualty.
Presently, a soldier has been wounded while one man daggered by a military man is said to be in a thin line between life and death.
A third caller just confirmed some number of casualties though soldiers have taken over the community, its difficult to know the exact number of persons.
Its getting out of hand.
Hope my hometown is not facing another kind of Zaria massacre.

initially there was a political unrest in d town that is why government commisioned barrack in order to put stop to unrest in those area and where are the elders when all these things is happened? i hope not soldiers are committing these atrocity? you know what the politicians has tourned society to? they empowered the thugry purchase gun for them to attack the opponent.
