I try to figure out the differences betwen Naija 6230 and chinese 6184 roms, and to gain Naija 6230 rom. As far no one can upload a Naija rom I think this is the only way to find the differences. buid.prop file doesnt contains any personal information. I have never heard about Naija rom. maybe it is a local (Nigeria??) rom. In Romania we have Allview rom, because Allview is a local company who rebrand the Gionee phones for Europe.

Ya got to flash SuperSu after flashing TWRP custom recovery. Here's a tutorial. I used the exact same one.

"TWRP Recovery is now installed on your Gionee Marathon M5, to boot to recovery mode, simply press and hold Volume Down button + press Power button" can't seems to find "Team win".

Refused to install TWRP.....what could be wrong?

Flash it again then use Volume up + power button then select Recovery. Easy as ABC

i have brick the phone. Instead of download only in Sp_Flash tools i selected "format all + download" It gives BROM ERROR:S_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTING_FAIL ERROR 5054 on the SP_Flash and the phone refused to boot

I do the same as you many taimes with 2 different TWRP for M5 but not TWRP installed.
Till i found a post i didn't remember where
The solution :[i][/i][b][/b]

Flash the TWRP as you do before with computer after the green window don't disconnect or power on the mobile just keep it as and repeat the flash twice (two times) after disconnect it and boot on recovery mode.
I don't have the explanation for that its appear no logical..... but it work.

AdBlocker worked for me with Xposed. Most of my Apps have stopped showing those useless adverts will test other apps later.

This USB not recognized is my challenge now . i tried it on another pc same USB not recognized

i quote this from a guy online: "I plugged ma fone to d pc, hoping to see d usual "usb not recognised" message frm d pc bt, guess wat i saw... 1. Be sure your phone is closed and disconected from PC
1a. Install this driver: Gionee_Driver_Install_v2.1.0.exe http://1drv.ms/1nhxZnl
2. Start sp flash tool
3. Load scatter file
4. press download button
3.Simply connect the phone to PC. (Dont press any button)
Should start.
