Instead of the govt celebrating him (them) they could partner with a technology firm related to the
field of his talent and establish a school so as to further develop him and other youths in the area.

We have been assembling whips for a long time now bro

Our level should be investing in building engines and body from scratch. Design, fabrication and assembly.

This technology could be developed and we'll packed to provide a technology of moving farm produce from the farm to storage facilities or ware house since all these roads are not motorable for good vehicles. This will save us the cost of importing caravan or cabstars from other countries, for the same purpose.
All this technology is not too far from the that used to produce Keke Napep. Do you know how many of these Keke that are imported annually? This guy can be better trained to produce all these Keke Napep in the future.

I think this SS3 student needs to be commended. His mates are probably bombing places here and there, he chose to spend his time on a project.

Even if it appears like this is just some welding work, some engineering graduates today still can't weld, yet he did it from scraps. It's a starting point for him and he needs to be motivated to do more.

I bet some engineering students have never been near a workshop.

I once met a final year student who was about to graduate at 37.And I knew a guy who stopped schooling for three years because of no money(He is now a graduate)

He may be 21 years old in SS3....because not everyone is rich like you....and has money to complete education.

Nigeria has so-called educated class that is not actually educated. If the country can rally around welders, tinkers and painters and forgo the so-called professors and doctors, it could see a future industrial growth.
