An experience defender wouldn't do what Per did. It was just 18mins into the game, he was the last man, he knew a foul would earn him a red leaving the team short in number for over 70mins. Wrong decision.

He would have left Costa through on goal, it's a 50/50 chance. With 11 players we would still have a chance to even win the game.

What was he avoiding? Costa to score?
He did score after just 8mins the red was shown. Poor decision for an experienced defender.

Honestly, I have seen where such spared the team their blushes. It could have gone either way. Too bad it went against Arsenal.

IMO, the battle was already won even before the game started. I think that was what affected the outcome of the game, and not the one-man loss. Arsenal were already defeated even before the game started. The defeat was more psychological than physical.

Do you know that I was wondering what you guys were playing for? Was it that Arsenal wanted a draw or what could it be...? I wondered. Why? Because for the most part Arsenal played without intent. If you ask me, from the game I saw, Arsenal still had the advantage to win despite the numerical disadvantage.

Well, no need to analyse this beyond this. I guess it's all water under the bridge now.

Well Mourinho was the first reason I started supporting Chelsea, but along with loving Chelsea I have disliked United....
I can support Inter and Madrid but definitely not United

But honestly it will be very very hard watching Mourinho coach United and wanting them to lose

Although I love Leicester's Cinderella story this season, I feel Arsenal should win the league. The likes of Walcott, Ozil, Sanchez, Giroud, Koscielny and Ramsey deserve a league title. These guys have been the backbone of the team for years now.
