My attention has been drawn to various campaigns on-going online about the upcoming election in Edo State later this year.
The campaign mainly by young people (youths) and students from Edo State and my local government, is that I should vie for the position of Deputy Governor in the state. This is based on the premise that since the party zoned deputy governorship slot to Edo Central where I am originally from, I should represent various interests in the area.

I think usually, campaign posters are for governorship elections, then the running mate's photo will be featured along with the governorship candidate.

perhaps this is a new style.

Lol. I wonder when youths are now the say of who becomes a deputy Governor. In as much he is love by the youth in his Senatorial district, but the real hope of him becoming the deputy Governor lays on the leaders of the party( mainly elderly people) and the governorship aspirant. He can't get that slot becos he is still very tender in Edo politics and compare to the calibre of people who are still in that deputy race.

Why are people this dumb, do they contest for the office of deputy governor?

The last time I check, you don't do poster for deputy. Until we amend the 1999 constitution, he effort is unfruitful and is only aimed at gaining recognition.
