I have problem with the EPS of my car. I went to KIA office and they billed me 40k. Is it advisable to get a local mechanic to do it at a cheaper price?

Yes. Depending on the town you are. The parts are very expensive but they can fix it.

you havent explained what is happening with EPS

you are letting people throw in solution and causes when you havent explained the problem

The EPS light just showed up this afternoon and I started feeling some little stiffness on d steering.

if they billed you 40k to fix it, I think it's cheap. (electronic)Steering rack cost over 260k.

Bring it down to multi autolab for a complete diagnosis if in lagos 08156087872 or 08165520837,
A low battery voltage could cause that
